Latoya took this song, made it get own, and did good with it. She can sing, of course looking 😍, and it was a good performance. You can't fairly compare her to her brother because he Brother Is THE GOAT, No One Can Compare To Him Nor to her Phenomenal Baby Sister! She had just as much talent as Jermaine, if not more! I really don't understand the hate! People act like she wrote a book and trashed them on talk shows. Hey Family forgave her and worked threw it but you can't. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The audience aren't even making an effort to be at least supportive of this rather painful performance for the 3 and half minutes until it's thankfully over.

She lacks unique charisma style that a performer a dancing and singing performer should have when dancing she needs to stay on beat as well lol and she needs more energy, charisma and style to atleast be close to how her other siblings are when dancing and singing. After seeing this she is by far the bravest of the Jacksons. I’m not one to comment on the lives of rich celebrities...but look at what the fear of being in that family turned her into. She still got up and did it...with all her little brave heart! She’s capitalizing on the public’s ridicule n pity for her and I commend her for it. Especially after reading some of the cruel comments. Make your money Toya! Only you know what you survived and saw! Sing n dance girl!!!
I would have loved to have seen this in person. That's an American classic, MJ would have been proud of his sister for having the courage to still perform. And the beat goes on...
In my opinion, she did good. I have read some of the bad reviews and said to myself, "They must not have seen some of other performances." She was painless in comparison.
Her performance isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be judging from the comments. Sure she's not up to par with the artists of her time but she's honestly about as good as half the artists out now.

@RandaWise lol aint no way! No stage presence, no showmanship, below average dancer and not much of a vocie. Potential to maybe model or do some acting but nowhere near what it took to be a successful artist in the 80s no matter the last name.
Well she isn't the best singer I agree. But the same goes for alot of these woman from that era just to name a few ( Madonna, Vanity, Cyndi Lauper and even Janet). But somehow they got away with it. The difference is that Latoya was basically living in the shadow of her brothers (the Jacksons 5, Janet and Mike). And let's not forget that the fame status MJ had was enormous...and another sister( Janet) who breaking barriers. So in conclusion people will always compare you with ( in Toya's case ) brother and sister. I bet that if Madonna was MJ's sister she would have never reached fame status neither.

Angel Lopez I don’t think singing and dancing is actually her style, I bet she would be more popular if she just went on and hard work for acting. Performing... uhhh no that’s both very meant for MJ and Janet they both have the talent to be a full package performer they both have their own style and charisma that attracts people, her on the other hand Nope.
I'm pretty sure she was in an abusive relationship with her manager at the time. If you watch her masked singer performances it's clear she doesn't have massive star power or anything, but she can do way better than this.

She explained all of it once she had got the divorce and much years later her ex husband had died? She did all of it for a reason even though it was really a messed up way of doing it for all that long time but it was protection not only for her but her family as well especially in regards to Michael and Janet etc. Everyone in her family including Michael had obviously forgiven her for it because they understood why much later.

She had the talent of Marlon and Jackie. If Joe had been on his game...he'd have taken the girls and created a trio with Rebe ..Latoya and Janet singing lead. Janet could definitely handled lead and both Rebe and Latoya have enough talent background to work the background
@@davidgerald133 The sisters already tried being a trio but for unknown reasons it never worked out. Rebbie was the best vocalist out of the three sisters but Janet had the sass and the attitude. LaToya's voice was beautiful but Pop was never her strong suit
