As a Italian teen who’s never been it would be cool for you guys to turn some Italian recipes vegan. Maybe you guys can make your culture/family recipes vegan. Lol it would be pretty cool if you guys went to Italy though.
Great review ladies! I'm hoping to come to LA from the UK next year for my hubby's 40th and our 10 year wedding anniversary, and Crossroads looks perfect for a celebratory meal! Keep up the great work 💚
Hannah's and Joi's expressions at 5:00 LOL that is the absolute glee of delicious vegan food! Crossroads is amazing. Only been there once but I will go back asap. Not sure if it's still on the menu, but the artichoke oyster dish is still one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. And the carbonara!!! I would take any omni to Crossroads to hopefully inspire them to go vegan. A delicious scheme! Also, I feel the need to share that I'm watching this video as I'm eating a dinner inspired by you guys! Vegan ranch crunch salad from TJs + buffalo tempeh. SO GOOD. Y'all have me eating so well over here haha! Thank you!
Another good restaurant to do in this series would be sugar taco! They have this ghost pepper taco that is ridiculously hot 😂 I was there with the vegan zombie recently, there is a video on his channel of me eating that taco and having an out-of-body experience 😂
That all looks so delicious! I think it's been about a year since the last time I was at Crossroads, so much of the menu looks so different now! I need to go back ASAP!
My husband and I went to LA for vacation in the first week of August. We tried a lot of vegan restaurants there and Crossroads was definitely our least favorite. I heard a lot of good things about it beforehand, so we were pretty disappointed. Some of our favorite restaurants in LA were Nic's on Beverly, Gracias Madre, and Real Food Daily. I can't wait to go back to LA to try more vegan restaurants.
OMG, looking at flights BER --> LAX right now... I'd love to see you guys at Monty's for sure. And at Nic's and the Sestina Pasta Bar. And in case of road trips: Southwest Florida (wearing Hillary shirts...jk) or how about BERLIN? I'd take you to Brammibals (best vegan donuts ever)
Crossroads is on my list, I was born and raised in LA then moved out to the burbs and have tried many vegan places but not crossroads. I recently moved east to the IE and miss the vegan food so much. There's so little out here in terms of vegan food. I'm so jealous.
I definitely would try this restaurant, however Donna Jean is my ultimate goal! I know that's not in LA, but it's still my ultimate goal my ultimate goal vegan restaurant.Oh yeah and the restaurant Sage is apparently dynamo!
YOU GUYS I went to crossroads on my LA vacation in June 2021 and I'm still dreaming about those buffalo mushrooms... unbelievable! But y'all missed out on the queso. Best I've EVER had!!
Im going to LA over Labor Day weekend and this is def on my list! Also, GO TO ITALY! Im hopefully doing next year for my honeymoon, I need to know where I can eat hahaha
Have you all tried or heard of Unreal Deli Steak Slices (advertised as Amazing Steak Slices)...vegan of course.....I have only seen the product online: GTFO it's vegan website.
@@AlessandraTaryn cheese is a dairy product derived from animals. Vegan "cheese" is a bunch of crap mixed into sludge, and idiots who crave cheese call it cheese... There is no such thing as vegan cheese. Trust the science.
Kinda weird how triggered you are by cheese, Matt! So much anger, jeeze! Let me list the “random crap” that vegan CHEESE is made out of since you’re confused - some are made from soy, some from nuts such as cashews and macadamias, vegetable oils combined with different starchy flours like tapioca, potato, arrowroot etc.. coconut oil, almond milk, nutritional yeast is used in a lot of them (great source of b12) I mean the list of natural plant based ingredients is pretty long and possibilities endless! I think only a true idiot would prefer curdled breast milk filled with hormones and puss from an animal with sore and abused nipples, but to each their own I guess! I’ll personally stick to vegan CHEESE. 🌱
