Lab Safety: Lasers 

At Ryerson University, safety means that lab personnel are safely using lasers and understand their uses in the university’s engineering and physics laboratory. In this video, you'll gain an understanding of how lasers are classified according to their potential to cause serious health effects to the body such as the skin and eyes. The video will also demonstrate procedures on how to perform laser alignments safely, as there are different types of lasers which require specific controls to protect workers and the work environment.
