pikaman 7798 is this a good anime?

@@christianurgiles6744 good is a understatement, this anime is amazing. It may seem like a normal sports anime at first but it shows and handles so many issues that people go through in life not only perfectly but in a way that some can relate to. As someone who's been through some of the things that these boys have been through, this anime hits close to home and I definitely recommend it.

@Shay Patel this is bad representation. Western ideology poisoned the sexually liberal ancient period of japan. And to just have this scene which robs the character of actually exploring their sexuality prior to defining themselves is not good character writing. I was in high school from 2010/2011 to 2014 and didnt just look up the definition in a book. I just tried with guys and girls. And it wasnt till my first year of college that I found trans people attractive as well.

I dont play sports but watching sports anime gives me that feeling of playing it, with pizzazz 😁😁 I dont mind the gender stuff tho its whatever there trying to push go for it im.just here for the sport

This scene right here is probably a big reason why the show was canceled after 12 episodes.

When I saw this, I looked up who the maker of the show is and to my surprise, it's an older Japanese dude. Either he's LGBT+ himself or we have an unlikely ally on our side✊🏳️‍🌈

@@Itsant33 ok Karen. As someone who is nonbinary, this character is well written and relatable. I don’t know if you have noticed but it is possible for straight allies to write about the community. As long as they take the time to understand it and portray it accurately then it’s completely fine. And again as an Enby, I think this show did just fine

There's not a lot of Nbs in anime...least not ones who officially identify. Some characters could be seen maybe fitting like Chrona from Soul Eater who in both the anime and manga (English/Japanese) has gone by both male and female pronouns, but the creator themselves has never officially said what Chrona's gender identity is. So they could be seen as non-binary or just androgynous. Hange from AOT falls under a similar boat (least what I re-call watching before I stopped). Most characters that follow close to NB are typically just androgynous or close to it in appearance. It's sad cause I want to see more representation. In a forum someone said MOGUMO RYUUNOSUKE (Love Me for Who I Am) is cannonically NB if that helps.

Also, like other people have said, people can be intersex, which is biological. It's not common, but it does happen. I recommend doing a little research.
