I love my scan in cut… So user friendly… cons: The Matt is not as sticky as the Matt’s from a cricut machine so I have to use regular tape to hold it down… When brand new it’s fine but after a couple of times using it… use tape and you won’t waste a project
You can use Totally Awesome from the Dollar Tree full strength (do not dilute it) with your scraper to clean your mat. Wipe it off with a clean cloth and let it fully dry and your mat will be like brand new again. It will be completely sticky again.
Nice to see you back. Want to let you know the names and the & sign in the middle, all you have to do is draw with pencil a line connecting the first name to the & sign and a line from the & sign to the last name. It will then recognize it as a whole then erase the pencil marks. I would suggest using a white polymer eraser as it won’t leave any marks.
Love that you got a new Brother Scan n Cut and made this video! I would love to see more videos using your Scan n Cut! I have 2, the 650W and the SDX125. I love my SDX and the fact that it is so easy to use!
I love how quiet this machine is..I had a Silhouette that I used hard for 4+ years but that thing was noisy . Still learning everything Scan & cut can do.
LORRIE.. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO FIRST TAUGHT ME to Make the MASKS.. and I have followed you OFF and ON, BUT NOW... GURLLLL. My Favorite Machine.. ANd I own Cricut, and Cameo 4 ( which HAS NEVER worked OUT of the BOX ) and now that I am On the other side with Cricut.. ( mis information, getting sucked into " only their products" and Now you Must have the SUbscription ) sure I was before the whole 3/21 "cricut crap ) but for me to get all the designs I made I have to to be a subscriber.. ANYWAYS.. BACK ONTO POSITIVITY.. YOU KEEP MAKING THESE VIDEOS.. IM YOURS FOR GOOD. .. IT DOES SO MUCH... and I cant wait .. GO GURLL.. KEEP USING IT.. and it matches up with my Sewing / embroidery machine !!
How do you use this for quilting? Im super new to these machines. So I’m eager to learn what all I can use it for. It would be great if I could use it for my quilt labels.
What mat did you use? I just purchased my first scan and cut. Did you use the paper you were showing in this video? I will have a lot of questions lol😂 thank you for your help in understanding the machine
Hello @LorrieNunemaker, I am contemplating buying this machine for my skincare buisness. I am not sure if it will be good to cut out wider labels? say 9 inches or more wide? I make body butters and scrubs and my jars are 8oz each. Do you think it will be able cut along the dimensions of 9.2 inches wide by 2 inches in height? Any info would help! Thanks!
Hi Lori, I have a Babylock 6 needle machine and was wondering if you can give a video on the Brother 10 needle threading. I would greatly appreciate it. Happy holidays
What did you use to design that print? I'm using canva and having the hardest time trying to make outline/borders around text, like you did on the "Merry Christmas" text at the bottom the first paper you scanned. It makes it much easier for the machine to recognize where to cut
Are most features going to be the same as older models? I have one from years ago that I never really used because it was too confusing for me. Found videos on cricut and went that direction.
