Wind farms and solar farms are a malinvestment. They are heavily dependent upon taxpayer funded subsidies and entail massive depreciation and maintenance costs. Em Massive expansion of the power grid to accommodate this uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy equipment would entail further massive capital depreciation and maintenance costs. Attempts at “climate mitigation “ are a colossal waste of taxpayers money and resources. We should simply use the most economical energy resources available and focus on alleviating natural disasters, reducing poverty and adapting to any changes in climate.
