Labor ‘backed out of its promise’ to deliver stage three tax cuts 

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan has called out the Albanese government for “backing out of its promise” to deliver stage three tax cuts.
The Coalition will go to the next election with budget and off-budget savings of close to $100 billion, which will see Labor spending programs axed.
“The Coalition is committed to continuing to try and deliver tax cuts to the Australian people,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.
“We said when the Labor Party backed out of its promise to deliver the stage three tax cuts, we would work hard to see what we could deliver once the budget numbers become clear.”
