Are you bringing us along when you take the fruit basket for the male nurse? I wanna see his reaction 🥰 that’s so thoughtful of you to gift him something. My night nurse that had taken care of us after my delivery had made me feel comfortable up until we left the hospital. I’ll never forget her. Cervix checks were so uncomfortable 😫 never looked forward to them when I was pregnant with my son. 13 hours of labor no epidural 💉

It’s so cliche to say, but your mind is so powerful. I’m pretty sure as you mentally prepared and giving in to the thought that the epidural is a good option, your body relaxed and allowing baby to fully come down. It’s just a blessing your family is complete and healthy ❤

This happened to me with both my girls i was at a 4 cm and 5 cm with each and when I was laying down after the epidural i said i have to poop... well 3 pushes for both and they were out... Epidural fully kicked in for me to deliver my placenta.. 5 years apart and it happened both times. Congratulations he is adorable!

Love watching your story time . The same exact thing happen to me my water broke from my son I kept feeling so much pressure . The dr checked me and I was 4 CM. I got the epidural and 3 mins after that I called the dr saying I felt pressure . I also went from 4CM to 10 CM in 12 mins I was SHOOK !!!!!!! I feel the same way I was like wow I just got poke for nothing felt everything as well 😭!!!!

The fact that you went from 4-10 makes me think like what if my body would’ve done that. Had an emergency c section w my first and I was so set on a VBAC with my second (almost 4 years later) and my body went from 0 to 3 within 2 hours and then I felt pressured into another c section and at the end of prepping me (which was like 10 mins later) the nurse said “wait let me make sure baby isnt coming rn” I was already a 4. I think about it everyday. I should’ve just went home and labored until I felt ready 😩 everything happens for a reason though I’m a firm believer. Congrats to you and your family 🫶🏻✨

Same! I was at 4 asked for the epidural so they asked my husband to step out... within 2 minutes of the epidural I had to push. They checked me and baby was already coming. My husband walked in as I was pushing lol. I’m pregnant with my 4th, we’ll see how this one goes 🤞🏼

Just want to throw this out there. I know you have done an amazing job with Max & Camila but with Matteo having three knots on his umbilical cord he is a high risk for development in general. I work with little ones who have developmental delays some are because of their traumatic birth and others will it just happens. Anyways, just keep a closer eye on him. Like I mentioned you have done amazing work with your two oldest. Not mom shamming, but just want to spread my knowledge. Can't wait to see more videos of them three!!! He will be loved and spoiled by his siblings.

Hi Blanca, so I’m native and like Latinos we have sayings. One of them around labor is sometimes someone will “block” the progress. Ulysses presence could’ve been blocking baby’s progress. Cause when he left baby dropped. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just a thing. Literally happened with my sister and mom. Soon as my mom walked out the room, the delivery started. Haha! She decided to stay out of the room til baby was born. Congratulations on Baby and here’s to a safe recovery 🩵

Mateo is truly a miracle baby .. When I had my 3 baby I got the epidural and not even 5 minutes I was ready to push .. 2-5 took hours 6-10 literally minutes after getting teh epidural

That happened to me. Hours of tolerating the pain and still only 6cm dilated. Finally decided to get the epidural, 20 min later I was pushing. I felt everything!!! Crowing was intense but it was over so quickly ❤

That’s how fast my 2nd baby came. Actually for my 2 births I never knew when to ask for the epidural because it went from no pain to super intense contractions to baby being there.

With my 3rd baby, I went from 5-10cm same as you, I requested the epidural and by the time they lay me back, I felt like a big gush of water and felt like pushing and also my husband was asked to step out and he came back in right when I was pushing 🤯 Sitting up for the epidural and using that device to hold onto during the epidural felt sooo good and relieved the pain for a second 😆(also delivered at Kaiser)

Omg same girl! I’m a new mommy of 3 as well. I just had my baby on April 11th. My water broke at 36 weeks…same thing happened… they started pitocin because I was only dilated at 1cm for a few hours. I was in labor for almost 13 hrs and only 4 cm dilated but soon as I got the epidural my baby girl was ready to come out. I was falling asleep when the nurses run in and call the doctor just when I was about to enjoy a good nap 😂 baby will be 1 month old in just a few days🥰 at 30 yrs old it was definitely my most painful pregnancy towards the end with bad pelvic pain but for it being my last baby and her being healthy it was so worth all the pain in the world. 💖 Congrats momma❤

Congratulations🎉 I think being folded on the epidural position also has an affect on pushing baby down. It happen to me too we’re I was told I will be delivering at this time and I delivered way way sooner. The epidural didn’t even kicked in.

Yes, with both of my babies I jumped. My first one I went from 5 & a half to 9 & a half & with my second baby girl I went from 4 centimeters to 8 & a half 😅🫶🏼 34 weeks pregnant hopefully it goes just as smooth as the other 2

They induced my labor they gave me the first dose at 12pm midnight so I can go in labor during the day/early morning, was the plan. I was dilated almost 1cm. All a sudden the pain came I went 1-10cm quick it was so painful, I remember wanting pain medicine I couldn’t was to late. My butt was where our head supposed to be, I couldn’t scoot down was yelling in so much pain. I had my daughter at 3:20 am. I dialed 1 to 10 in 2-3 hrs was awful. I feel your pain.

The same exact thing happened to me with my son! The nurses didn’t listen to me and said it was normal to feel the pressure. So they proceeded to give me the epidural, not even 2 minutes later I felt like I needed to poop, doctor checked me and I was crowning already. I’m 110% my body naturally did that, but because the nurses didn’t bother to check me before the epidural they did it anyway. Carelessness

Baby #5 my water broke at 3:30am, got to the hospital at 4:30am, i was at 8cm. No time for any pain meds whatsoever 😭 baby was born at 5:25am. Literally 2 hours from start to finish!! Buuuut i was in excruciating pain. Congrats on baby #3 and Welcome baby Matteo!! 💕
