I have given birth to twins naturaly without a c-section and I have 3 other kids which were born naturaly as well! It is not really as bad as your mind is telling you it is! The most important thing is tou dont stress or panic! It makes it so much worse!

Due to the situation with COVID, I had to go through labour and delivery alone with only my Dr by my side .. I am an emotional rollercoaster these days and I'm dealing with postpartum depression 💔 I'm finding it hard to express my emotions

lolimellie i gave birth yesterday ! It was total chaos due to me screaming for hours due to contractions being so horrible ! I couldn’t take the pain but once I got epidural I felt nothing & pushed her out in 4 pushes ! Thank u so much love & congrats you’ll be amazing

This popped up on my feed and my daughter was born dec19th 2017! My water broke the 18th and I had a 7 hour labor from start to finish and she was born early the next morning :) I’m pregnant again due Nov19th ! Irish twins here I come!

I am so confused why you had to walk baby out to the car and put baby in the car seat. The Hospitals here where I live make you bring the car seat inside so they can check it with baby inside and then you walk out.

Different states do different things. In New York a nurse has to check your car seat installation but in Alabama you can just leave once your papers are signed.

It depends if it’s a capsule or a regular car seat. You can’t detach a car seat from the base and carry it around, only a capsule. Also there’s no law that they have to check the seat, it’s just hospital protocol

When my water broke on both of my pregnancies... the hospital let me go on my own instead of giving me pitocin... it always takes hours later before contractions starts after your water breaks! With my son.. it Broke around 7ish.. contractions didn’t start.. mild ones until around 12:30 that night! And through out the night I laboured and had him 10am the next morning! With my daughter it was basically the same! I wouldn’t get an epidural because it slows everything down and takes longer to push!

Right. I would have gone back home to relax and let my labor progress. Why does the stupid medical field feel the need to intervene so much?? It slows down everything, increases the risk of c section and just stops nature. It doesn't make sense to me.

I know the hospital that I am going to is really flexible and will do as much medical intervention as each individual wants so maybe that was her choice? I would not want to take the pitocin/epidural route either

Not necessarily. Some people say that getting an epidural actually sped up their labor. There can be side effects with any medication you take, and not everyone is going to react the same way. You just have to do what you feel is best for you and your baby! There’s nothing wrong with medication and there’s nothing wrong with going without medication.

My babys due Dec10th 2019, and I can’t wait to see him ❤️ I was talking to a few specialists about inducing the labour and I’m not planning on doing it in any form, unless my baby is in danger. Check out a great book called Inducing Labour by Sarah Wickham. She explains how they work and explains pros and cons of each of them. Apparently you can’t call you vaginal labour natural if you allow them to induce it in artificial way like oxytocin, prostaglandin, sweep, balloon and many others. It’s only your choice of you want to use them. They may be suggesting it so it’s more convenient for them .

holly. lou you still have to go through labor if you have the epidural. Some women just choose to numb the pain so it’s more bearable.

Everyone woman giving birth “goes through labor” whether she is medicated or not. Some people have no desire to experience the level of pain that comes with a non-medicated birth, and to suggest that it is not “true labor” when one does opt for medication is really disrespectful.

If you give birth vaginally you experience labor, your choice to make it awful is your own! I have severe stress and when I experienced the pain my body put me and the child at risk... with the aid of med I was able to give birth with a c-section! However you are able to have a child is amazing! I know some one who have cever tokophioia ( witch is real but over diginosed with simple bit fear) because of childhood sexual assult that last most of her childhood. It put her body In such distress she had to have a c-section..... so turn off the judgment and just know these people are not you, don't want to make your choices or hear your opinion about theres.... want to hear why I think your dumb for puking your child and you at risk of distressed heart rate by not getting meds....no...okay ill keep my thought to myself like you should have!
