In this random little video Molly demonstrates holding an egg in her mouth :) Check out my other videos with Molly here: • Molly, The Black Labrador Sorry about the weird video flickering, not sure what's going on there.
Molly the reluctant star !!!! She's looking really good. I used to give Boo an egg as a treat from time to time... just cracked it into a dish, shell and all, and she would wolf it down. Came about after I dropped an egg whilst putting the shopping away and she wolfed it down !!
Thanks Keith! Aww bless - they do love eggs don't they. I cook the dogs up scrambled eggs from time to time as a treat, I add in a bit of milk and coconut butter with they looove.
Aww. My Labrador used to retrieve the eggs from the hen house for us most mornings. We never asked she just used to bring them in to the house and place them on the door Matt for us. She also used to wonder round with the cat and the chickens in her mouth. None of them used to mind it. Think they quite liked it.
My Molly the Weimaraner would just eat it. We have chickens and a few times we have collected eggs and left them outside only to have found them missing. It took a couple to go missing before we realised where they had gone hahah
Those dogs are so much smarter then people gives them credit for. We put down our dog months ago reason of old age and bad heart problems and looking for another one. Great video Bex88!!! Take care.
What's this... A video from Bex in my notifications, Yay... A video with Molly... DoubleYay 😁. I was just thinking of you and Molly the other day. I was thinking with it being a bit too wintery over there for riding, that hopefully you would be working on some video's of Molly and her repertoire of tricks. Awww, she's one smart little cookie (smarter than most people I know 😜). She's really good at holding the egg (not an easy thing for dogs to hold), I bet by winters end she'll be almost at the stage of being able to make an omelette ;)
Aww thanks! That's so lovely you thought of us ^_^ Yes, sorry I've been so quiet, it's usually the case this time of year - I get really busy and caught up with other things and especially as the weather is not so inviting for riding the bike. I did journey out last week for a little bimble, I did record but there wasn't anything too interesting going on so didn't bother editing it. x
Heeeya Suz, Thanks so much! And yeah sorry for being a bit quiet - this time of year it's usually the case with being busy and the weather isn't so inviting - nor the roads! You should see them around here, tractors have caked them in mud. I did go out on the old girl the other day but didn't really capture anything interesting so didn't bother editing it into a vid. x
Thank you :) She's not really put away but I'm just not going out on it too much now due to being busier this time of year and with the weather not being so inviting and there's not really been many meets going on now. I do need to give her a run sometime soon to use up and put some fresh fuel in.
Thank you Alan ^_^ Yes mee too, I'm taking the bike out now and then for a little bimble but it's got so cold now and the roads are absolutely filthy with mud from tractors round here. TCRS x
Wow Bex, Molly is gorgeous ! What a clever dog she is :) Now where have you been ? It's been ages since you last put a bike video up ! Good to see you are alive and kicking ... :)
^_^ Thanks M4 Boar! She is such a sweetie :D Ah sorry I've not been very active lately, it's the time of year, so been busy with everything else and been going out with family and molly to places in the car now more now the weather isn't so nice. I did get the bike out the other day for a little bimble but didn't really capture anything too exciting on video. x
Ohhh no not Buddy!?? I'm so out the loop, haven't been checking on the Bex88 facebook for a while, just so caught up with other bits n bobs. Can't believe it, what happened? xx
He had the dog equivalent of crohn's disease, we'd had him on medication since probably this time last year and to be honest we thought we'd beat it, but in the end they offered an operation that would have cost around £2000 and the vet said that at his age "10" he didn't think it would have been successful, he'd lost 10 kilos in about 6 weeks, despite him appearing to eat more than normal, we'd changed his food and allsorts, even though his tablets were costing £47 a week we were prepared to manage but in the end we had no choice, we miss him so much but it's almost as though he's still here in spirit.
Hahaha! She would have just dropped it straight down on the laminate if I didn't catch it, she wouldn't worry as long as she got the bit of cheese treat and then would probably licked the egg up as well XD hehe Yeah can't wait for it all to start back up again. The roads are so muddy round here at the mo!
Hehe Well the next challenge is a fruit pastille without chewing it, set by Hepcat :P Oh yes she loves cheese, was the first thing I grabbed out the fridge at the time haha.
Thanks Metalhead - Aww that's a real shame! We had dogs when I was really little, then had cats for years and then after they passed we got Indi, and now Molly. Since having dogs again I couldn't imagine not having them around, they are just such amazing companions.
Oooh yes that fox poo is awful isn't it!! Molly has rolled in it only ever twice but neither time was when I was walking her so not sure where it was. I bought the Animology 'Fox Poo' shampoo designed to get ride of the smell if they do roll in it, but since buying it she hasn't rolled in any lol At least we'll have it just in case! It can be very difficult to stop - I'd imagine especially for a sniffy spaniel! - but I think the best way is is to try and keep an eye and spot any signs they may roll in poo like focusing on a sniffing a certain area intensely and then use a leave it command.
Bex88 yeah its so annoying because the smell is unbearable ! When he does do it i hose him with cold water outside i dont know if you are supposed to but it does deter him for a while then it happens again. Its hard to say specific areas as we back on to fields !
Oooo Well now.. the Doughnut without licking her lips - definitely not lol - she's be there licking her lips before she even got hold of it! XD But the Fruit Pastille.... gotta give that one a go! :P
