We have a mail woman named Betty. She leaves 3 dog biscuits in our mailbox daily for our 3 small dogs. They get excited when they hear Betty's mail truck coming down our street. Betty went on vacation few months ago for 2 wks & the last day she worked she left a snack bag in the mailbox with a note written on the bag that the enclosed biscuits would cover her absence! Betty is the greatest!!
Dogs can be very patient. When I was a kid, we had a poodle who would wait all day for my sisters and I to come home from school. He'd sit on the porch and look in the right direction, according to who was due next.
When I was a carrier I had a black lab run up to me everyday to get his owners mail it was so cute he was always so excited but he ate his treat first 🐶❤️
You can’t help but smile at this little sweetie! Listening to this video you can hear what these people deal with, for every sweetie there’s a pupper who is taking the guarding of his home seriously, another little tiny who is terrified, but willing to try to guard, then this sweetheart. You’ve gotta love these mail carriers who are kind.
When my lab mix goes on a walk she always looks back to make sure I’m there and ok even on a leash. When your dog kept looking back to find you that’s what it reminded me of. So sweet. ❤
Had experience with a black lab - you want to hug them with their sweet nature and playfulness. This lab was so patient to wait for the mail person. Made the day.
She points him to step back... he does. She looks away (far too long!) and he steps back up. "Just in case you forgot how much I love you... and yer treats!" ha ha... people need the love of dogs every day.
Mail vans in the USA have their steering wheel on the right hand side. This is to enable the driver to get out safely away from oncoming traffic. Labs and Goldens are so friendly. Labs are always hungry, even full!!! 🤣
Its more basic and simple than that. When they drive down the street, the mailboxes are to the right. The mail carrier just has to lean over and put the mail in the box. Lmao 😂😂
@@kbrewski1Yeah, but when delivering mail by van originated there were no mail boxes on the curb, they were all attached to the houses, except rural areas.
I love how pets can tell if a person is good towards people or they are evil. This dog is amazing. I have a wild cat who lives across the street from me and it took me years for him to get my trust. When I pull up from my driveway he sits there till I arrive in the morning. When I see him I get him treats and pet him. He is very skittish but very friendly when I got his trust. He still is skittish during the day but night time so kind. Even during the day I do get to pet him. Just depends on how he feels lol his name is Oscar
I know the feeling, I worked as a automotive service technician for many years and I had regular customers who would bring their dogs with them because they would always get treats love and affection, there is nothing greater than the love of a dog
@@2headedcow5252 So sorry about dachshund. She was already a major part of your family. It seems like you don't want a pet anymore after that loss. Think about it, a new pet could serve as a way of honoring the past one. What do you think?
lol this is our chocolate with the ups guy. as soo as he stop his truck. our lab goes to the door and wait for a trat. the ups guy loves him. it's so cute to watch.
