Fun to see the different personalities of the dogs and idiosyncrasies of the various breeds. I can never pick my favorite because they each have their own way of doing things that make them unique. Neat being introduced to the Boykin. A breed I have never seen before.

Perfect timing. Wanting to get out 5 month Aussie out on the lake on our kayaks. She gets in and out on dry land with no problems. Wasn’t sure how to transfer to the real thing. This exercise is just I needed. Thank you!

I have a 2 yo rescue border collie who I took out to some shallow water the other day(first opportunity where I'm at due to weather) and at first she was nervous but she quickly started going chest deep! She loved it. I was able to wade in with her. Next time I hope to be able to swim in with her and bring my paddle board. Id love for her to be able to float the river with me on my paddle board and my husband on the pontoon boat. My small dogs hate swimming but they loooove boating lol

Love these vids !! Those pups are a joy to watch as they learn. Uncles Henry and No Name are great cheer leaders too, just building that level of anticipation of fun. Time to let the training dummy fly for the Uncles to compete to retrieve.

This was a great episode Stonnie. Do you do any after water care on the dogs, in regards to washing them down and looking for parasites, leeches, blood suckers etc? I’m taking my new to me five year old chocolate lab to an off leash park that has water so she can enjoy a swim. I am hosing her down once we’re home though. LoL. Also going to be heading to my brothers cabin at a lake in Saskatchewan, so looking forward to some fun adventures there with Saje. Thanks again for all your expertise and tips. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦

My puppy, Low energy Jeb Bush, saw his first mud turtle today. 😂

Stonnie, my 5-month Lab pup seems to be a "risk-taker." Over-confident, it seems sometimes. Sometimes she swims far out into the lake, and I'm on the bank yelling and shouting for her to turn around and come back. Maybe she sees the opposite shore-line and is heading for that. Or maybe there's an echo and she's not sure where my voice is coming from. I think she thinks being in the water is just as safe as standing on a grassy field. I'm half-tempted to get her a floatation vest.

Do you ever take your dogs to the dog park? I would love for you to see Kayla. She's the best puppy in the world but I would love for you to watch her and see if she's as good of a puppy as we think she is. One day another dog attacked her.
