Love it! I thought the song was fantastic, but with the video it's even better. I love this window into the world showing the awesomeness and the struggle. A total perfectionist - to your own detriment I'm sure - but this is definitely perfect.
I hope this becomes a hit and he becomes famous worldwide at last, this guy can do everything: Amazing singer, awesome songwriter and insane producer!!! Can't wait for your album Labs, been too long!
Tania Dib True dat, but in places like Asia & in my country Singapore, most people only know him for Beneath Your Beautiful if at all, which is such a shame. It's great to hear he's more well known in France though. :)
Agreed. Sometimes it pays to do what you want than to be the most famous. We get to witness it all before corporate taints the situation. Hopefully they never will.
Ay, ay, ay, ay Put my money where my mouth is and I laid my cards I'mma go out fighting And leave my scars I don't know about tomorrow But I know I got heart Put my feet right on the margin And I just might hit the bottom Throw my hands out on the breeze and let it be Baby, this is Russian roulette And it ain't my gun. Hallelujah, I ain't dead, yet And I'm still going strong (oh, oh, oh) I don't know about tomorrow But the battle ain't done They say losers are forgotten And I just might hit the bottom But we all gotta take the leap, and let it be Oh let it be, Oh let it be, Just let it be! Oh oh oh oh Just let it be, baby It's all been said and done Oh I've done and said it all, hope and pray I think it's time to catch that train I don't know where it starts And I don't know where it ends I guess that's the name of the game, oh oh Oh, got to let it go Yeah, I got to let it go, Yeah, oh no, oh no! Let it be! Come on, come on! (Let it be, no no no) Let it be, baby When you're holding on your last breath When you're looking for a way out Oh, let it be! Let it be, let it be, let it be Just let it be!
I'd been hearing this song at work for the past five months and I never thought of searching it up until I started singing to it. I tried so hard to look for it, but I failed every time. Today it came on and I happened to have a pen on me. I took down the line, "hallelujah I ain't dead yet", and googled it right away to find out who sang this beautiful song. Never in a million years did I think it would be him! It's an incredible song.
I dont know why anyone in their right mind would dislike anything you do. You are extraordinary. So so so so talented. Haven't heard real music like this since the 90's. Brother i hope you get the recognition you deserve bc you are pure magic. Keep the real music coming bc its so lacking these days. Thank you for making such beautiful ,soulful and real music. As others mentioned before every song is a motherfckn masterpiece just mind blowing.
Anh Duong I kind of agree with you, but you know, we always want new things, and better, so its kind of tiring seeing the same artist who are failing to come back, but idk, thats just our opinion i guess
***** I personally like UK artists than US ones. UK has so many talented people. I really like Ed, of course it takes me time to really get into his music :) I guess the popular of the song also depends on how it's promoted to reach to more audience. This is definitely a great song, I believe if more people listen to it, it will get huge success. :)
Anh Dương Yea, its true that UK have more talented artists than the US, haha. It also kind of depends on the music genre, like if its hip hop or just pop. But personally, I like korean artists, like khiphop, my fave ^
When I was really really low, when I hit the bottom and couldn't see any light, his music brought me back. This is real music. With the power of waking up, cleaning out all the darkness we have inside. Those words just ring in the head, calling calling calling. So... thank you! For this beautiful act of creativity. Absolutely in love with it
*Is it hypocritical to hate the haters* ?? -Is it hypocritical to love the lovers- ?? I mean, Where do I even begin to describe this track ?? Funky sound, ‘ol days of soul, fused with a bit of hip hop and Gospel .... Very *James Bond* especially the End. _Forward thinking and Smashing & BTW_ Rolls-Royce has entered the consciousness of a bold, new generation of customers by collaborating with a cutting-edge artist like LabrinthVEVO
Okay I was searching for covers of the Beatle's song, and came across this. And I am BLOWN AWAY. This is spectacular. Wow. Amazing song. Amazing singer!
First time listening to your music. I am fan already, your vocals are insane. Gosh something about your voice. Your so talented...Everything is on point
Man, just because you're not getting the credit you deserve. Please, for the love of your good music, don't stop. You really affect some people's life. Your music is a gateway. Please don't stop
Love the track and the video - does anyone know if there is a name to describe the effect used in this video? The camera keeps moving and Lab appears in different scenarios in quick succession. Is a cool effect! I just wondered how it's made, if it is like cloning & rotoscoping kind of thing... or something else!
ohh Dench This is not motion tracking, this is filmed by a motion control camera rig, a camera controlled by a computer and it repeats it's motion, over and over again so that different takes can be seamlessly 'edited' together. There is a bit of post production involved. But I got to say, I love this video and this song!
Does anyone else think this would have suited the Django Unchained soundtrack. I hope Tarantino will put it in the Hateful 8 cause its sound like electronic spaghetti western.
