Labyrinth of the Ancients is a super common 24 person raid in the daily duty finder. I've run through it with many jobs, and every time is an experience. sometimes good others I'm wondering why it's so hard. As I run the same dungeons I'm seeing certain things repeated so I figured let's address them and make a guide. While it is aimed at tanks, it is also useful for DPS and Healers because I highlight certain mechanics that should be remembered and how to deal with them.

For the second boss, make sure that if you do NOT have the ghost debuff (aka team A) you DON'T attack the boss until you get that debuff. or you are gonna do 0 dmg the whole fight like is shown in this video.. For the next "bosses" the A-B-C bosses, you don't need to holmgang when you pull the boss bc thats useless, you should also not use provoke when you pull it the first time, (you should save provoke so IF another tank takes YOUR boss, you have provoke ready to grab it back instantly.) Use use ranged attack when you pull it as it gives you instant agro of the boss even if your team hits it first. For the last boss, you do not need to move the boss from the middle, it will be easier if you do, but nothing that's gonna make or break it for the teams. What you should not do, is press all your skills that are off cooldown without knowing what they do, once again! don't use holmgang when you pull a boss, its useless and any tank that do that, should learn not to do it or play dps. Stacking 3 mitigation's and trying to shirk... i guess the boss? :S is also something a tank should never do. I love that you are trying to make a helpful guide for ppl, bc YES! a lot of ppl need it! But please you should not make a guide if you yourself don't know what you are doing. Its one thing if you don't know how to play tank (as you show in the video) but at least give the right information to ppl. Even the first pull on the first boss was not correct. you ran to the wrong side in the room. Yes it don't matter THAT much, but if you are gonna make a guide, at least do more then 50% of the things right yourself. It looks like its your second time running this Alliance raid. If you need help in learning what you should do in this alliance raid, or need help/tips on how to tank. Let me know and i will teach you so you can make a proper guides in the future.

This isn't a guide on how to play Warrior, Something I probably won't ever do is how to play a certain job guides. I bounce from job to job, just trying to level the jobs to 90. After they hit 90 I move on to a different job. I do have my favorites but even those I have not learned "rotation" I'll just forget it in a couple weeks after not playing that job. Everything noted in the video was stuff I've witnessed over months of running this dungeon. Be it a quick run or having to restart 5 times cause the majority is sprouts. I've never been someone that dove deep deep into a game to learn all the mechanics or aspects.. I played Everquest for 11 years and couldn't tell you spell names or dungeon names any more. I enjoy the game play, and the game. and just wanted to help people out with some content. It is a game after all and should be fun not stressful, thinking one HAS to learn rotation or HAS to do things certain ways take a lot of fun out of it.

@@SawyerCustomGaming-io8xz True, but calling it a Tanking and Positioning guide when both the tanking part and the positioning part is wrong and also not explaining the basic's of the fight like, you can't do ANY dmg for 20 seconds if you don't have this buff here that only Party A gets first and then B and then C if the fight drags out. Don't you think a guide should have the most basic things in them? and not showing them you hitting the boss for 30 seconds when its clearly saying invulnerable every time you hit it. Its good that ppl wanna make guides and stuff but a guide should be a guide, not a how not to do things. And learning "rotations" has nothing to do with you pressing 4 defensive cooldowns when you are trying to do more dmg, even the Novice hall tells you how to play your jobs in the most basic way. And ofc the game should be fun, but why not just make a fun video with you running the raid instead of calling it a guide when you yourself just stated that you are not good at the tanking or the mechanics of the game? :P (As I run the same dungeons I'm seeing certain things repeated so I figured let's address them and make a guide. @@MoweDowe There is a ton of basic dungeon runs from different jobs on the channel. most with 0 views. I made a thank you for pointing me I a new direction and had to delete comments. Not sure why I'd get hate comments from a thank you video but I did, and the guide didn't go very far either.. I'm casting nets and it's all I an do. This is a very hard niche to come into. Just like the other 3 channels I have. I don't read any of the text, haven't hit the job trainers, it's just not my thing.. Come laugh at the game play, enjoy the runs, and take it for what it is.. a fun game with many ways to play. You wanna have a heart attack go watch my dancer runs.. Hate that class and I really suck at play it.
