Any piece of Crown Land can be utilized for up to 21 days for personal use/living/camping as long as the tent/trailer/residence is not permanent. The tent/etc must be moveable & after the 21 days of staying there, you must move locations (I can’t remember what distance you have to move every 21 days but it’s a couple hundred meters before you can set back up & continue to camp). Neat eh!?!?
@@chrisconger1905 North of the French River/Mattawa area folks from the U.S. may require a Crown Land camping permit depending on the area, but I'm not 100% certain on how that works. The Province of Ontario website has a ton of information on Crown Land camping & states the following: "Some non-residents of Canada need a permit to camp in areas north of the French and Mattawa Rivers."
