How did it work out? From the video it seems like you can't tighten the laces at the toes then.

Thanks! It's a Powerdyne Y3 skate tool. We normally sell them, but there's a stock shortage right now and they are very hard to find. We'll have them back in stock as soon as they are available again.

Could you add another nut to tighten the toe guard under it? It would be like Washer Nut Toe guard (Washer maybe) Nut Stopper

You could try. It would add a bit of weight to the skates, and might loosen up over time, though.

Im not sure why but I’m Having such a hard time with this lacing technique and I’ve tried this several times 😩 and slowed the video

What do you mean by "mounted stoppers"? You can put toe guards on both bell stoppers and adjustable stoppers.

how do you adjust your toe stops now that the nut is covered by the toe protector?

I guess you would have to undo the laces every time 🤔🤷

From the side, you can sneak a tool in there no problem, you just have to adjust it a bit at a time instead of in half turns of the wrench.
