I like how Mordecai at first seemed like a genuinely heartless monster, but now he seems much more like someone desperately TRYING to be a person, just failing really hard at it

I appreciate that Mordecai can hold an entire conversation without viktor speaking at all

Viktor’s shifting concern for his partner’s lack of emotional distress is just hilarious

I love how Mordecai is most distressed and grief stricken about his missing cufflinks.

Anyone that has read a novel from that time period knows that losing your cufflinks at the scene of the crime DOOMS you!

Words can't do justice to how giddy I am that there's a Slovak character in this series. I am going to resonate so hard with Viktor.

I enjoy the implication that Mordecai has a specific face he puts on when he wants to murder someone's entire family with an ice pick. Implying that this comes up often enough for him to be ready for it.

Wait a sec... att 3:17 with Mordecai explaining about the symmetry in the car, It made me think to the animated pilot where he sits in that spott, 😲

YES! The iconic Viktor and Mordecai side comics! These are the ones I have been looking forward to the most. Viktor and Mordecai are the best pair in Lackadaisy.

I honestly feel that Sungwon is the best person to voice Mordecai, he just fits it so well.

Mordecai proves once again that he's quite literally the best. And Viktor proves to me that he his also a valid contender.

I like how Mordecai can read enough emotion to tell what Viktor is feeling, but not enough to know why

Why is SungWon Cho's voice so absolutely flawless for Mordecai? 😂 Literally could not have picked a better voice. Top tier voice acting all around.

Through every comic I read, it was so hard to imagine him saying things like this. I CANNOT believe there is anyone on this planet who can make Mordecai NOT sound out-of-character even when he's saying things like "Dad-gummit" and "humdinger". This is TRUE talent, I literally couldn't have possibly imagined a better voice actor for him - and I say "literally" because I tried. And couldn't.

Mordecai was literally created for SungWon Cho, his delivery of the dialogue is just impeccable. And, although it is fun to watch Viktor and Mordecai being murder buddies, it’s more fun to watch Mordecai trying to get along with Rocky though. I wonder if Mordecai finally got over his nightmare after drinking Rocky’s “special” coffee?

So this is what she meant by "sentimental about old times".

Are we just going to ignore the fact that the tied up dude is voiced by _Nick fucking Nocturne_ of all people?

"Massacre" Epilogue: And so, Viktor helped Mordecai search for his cufflinks among the corpses in the garage. Minutes later, the police come knocking and found a sole survivor, Franklin Goosenberg bleeding on the floor. Although pressed to reveal the identity of their murderers, Frank insisted that nobody had shot him that fateful Valentine day and then died 3 hours later in the hospital.

Can we all just appreciate the fact that Mordecai was ready and willing to shoot Viktor over the internal symmetry of a car he wasn't even driving

Mordecai has a smile that says "When I'm through with you, they'll never find your body, and even if they did, all they'd find would be teeth". It's not his fault he was cursed with that INTJ Resting B-Face (which I personally find charming)

Mordecai not being good with the ladies is an unexpected surprise, but a cool one

I think the most importing thing to a smoulder is a barely readable smirk to the eyes, and honestly I've only ever seen a smile reach Mordecai when he's actually satisfied

.... .... I am somehow VERY confused about how I should think about Mordecai. Since I first saw him in the pilot animation, didn't read the comics yet, and started to watch the comic dubs now... But I like him. The seriouse version is so cool, and the spin-off version is so ador...able...? (I'm not sure if I'm making the right word choice)

According to the comics bio Viktor is from Pressburg (or now days Bratislava in Slovakia) but his accent is more Russian like. The Slavic languages dont sound the same and not especially as Russians. We dont have here such heavy and hard talking tone. In general nice work and love your passion about this project. but this is what came in my mind after I heard his voice acting and wanted to give you my opinion

It's funny coming from the Pilot, where Mordecai is painted as a ruthless, practical, killing machine, and then seeing him here as a bit of a goofball.
