I agree with you 100%. I really like the Darker and Heavier nature of Lacuna Coil. Lacuna Coil in general is the greatest band ever.

Lacuna Coil also has the perfect lineup. From dual vocals, guitarist, bassist to the drummer. I'd like to see them in concert sometime. I would choose a Lacuna Coil concert over a general vacation anytime. As far as I'm concerned, I've got good taste.

Its funny because this record is by far my fav from them. And at the time i would of said the same thing your asking. Its interesting this album was when the HUGE lineup shift happened to! Anyway, at this point im actually quite shocked at how much they seem to be reusing/rehashing vocal hooks, and guitar riffs/progressions. Wait until you hear the new single never dawn. Its not bad at all! It just leaves me feeling a tad underwhelmed because it feels like inferior version of so many songs from this record.

***** Nope, not really. There's a song here and there that I like though. Karmacode was the start of their downfall in my opinion

+EvanesEmperor I agree that Karmacode was the start of a new direction but to me it's the last album in the vein of the classic Lacuna Coil style. Underneath all the droptuned riffs and slap bass lies the same gothic flavor that made their early material so memorable. On top of that it still had some great tunes in that style like What I See, In Visible Light, Without Fear, and the B-side tracks (no idea why those were cut, they're better than the album in general). But I do see where you're coming from. I think Dark Adrenaline had its heart in the right place on some of its songs too but even I'd say it's a bit hit and miss.

I totally agree. Some LC fans do revert too much back to thoughts of the first two albums. Progression is almost always met with harsh criticism. With them losing so many members this is great progression.

I think the whole song is just insane. I love "Epic" sounding music, this song just elevates you to such a level. The chorus just soars. It's my fave LC song and it's just incredible live, I think I may have cried when I heard it in Manchester.

Hello there im nikki a lacona coil fan they are my fav band and i have loved allmost every song they have done and cristina has a amazing beautiful voice andrea s voice can be good but hate when he shouts to me it sounds horrible i think the song house of shame is ok when cristina sings the drummings good the rest is aswell the music is the heavyist iv heard from them the words to the song are very dark and creepy just be better if wasent so much shouting
