Beautiful fragmented fractal and symmetrical designs like these are no longer possible with how tool cupboards work these days, it's a real shame, I hope we can eventually find a real solution that will solve the TC problems and once again allow creative designs like these to be possible.
logically what you'd do for the exterior. is you'd retain a single actual exit. but you'd make the exterior identical across the entire base to act as bait. rather than having a single door which would give people an idea which way to tunnel through.
Take the criticism as you will, but I commend you for your base design. It must of been difficult to record it all in one take. I'm subscribing, and I hope for more intuitive base designs coming from your channel in the future.
On a no decay server this would work, but to use in a server that has decay, it's just not possible to do this since you need upkeep for it, and the TC doesn't protect detached areas.
just saying, blowing through the wall stack between the main part, and honey comb from above takes 9 rockets and 3 bean cans to get through im pretty sure, correct me if im wrong
Ill be honest, I didnt think anyone was still watching these videos. I recently got a new job working from home, so I might make some new base design videos soon. A few months after posting my videos abusing their wall mechanics, Rust devs were quick to fix it. Afterwards, they also added a mechanic where rockets create a damage sphere rather than a direct line; this caused any wall stacked on top of, or directly next to another wall to share all incoming damage which nullified most of my previous designs.
if you had the resources you could put doors on every edge of the outer walls to make them have to play a guessing game after deciding not to go through the roof.

yeah its sad. but if you really wanted to fuck with people during those days, put doorways all around the outside with stairs going to each of them, all of them but 1 being dummy doors of course.
They would aim down the gap aiming high enough to damage both side walls and a roof. Doing so they can likely raid this with anywhere from 8-16 rockets. That's dirt cheap for what's likely stockpiled in a base like this. Stupid builds like this are ALWAYS prime targets even more so when they are RU-vid builds. So perhaps we should as you the same question of "are u fukin moron?" Also it's are you a fuckin' moron? If you're gonna insult someone's intelligence at least make sure you don't make yourself out to be a moron in the process. Gotta love these "Newmans" they do make "farming" easy in Rust. :P

I'm assuming you got the idea from Jesucristoh? Because 3 days before you posted this video, he posted one, which is very similar to this one. Really, the only difference seems to be that you added more triangles, and made some doorways so that you can move around the outside layer of the base...
I had not taken inspiration for this build from anyone. I was just messing around in sandbox until I made it. I have on many occasions given credit to others in previous builds, but I do not follow any other Rust RU-vidr besides PrinceVidz. I had simply made a base floor design that seemed like it could work and then created an example base on top.
the black bars at the sides are pretty annoying and the music at the start was a bit too loud and theres some background noise at 5:23... otherwise keep uploading man.

Maybe he plays in 1024x786 resolution.. you can't avoid black bars then without stretching the video content. I never understand why people get annoyed by black bars in a video.
It will still work, only to a lesser extent. You'll have to put TC's in each honeycomb and the crazy roof/wall combos won't be there but you will still be able do the majority of the design. Even without the roofs this is still a 36 rocket raid thru walls to clean out level 1...40 rockets thru doors (assuming armored). Thru the roof will be much more, even with the nerfs. Not to mention they have to clean out L3 also. A few well placed turrets will help. The only groups getting in here are massive zergs or someone who is REALLY mad at you and offlines.
Lets be honest, Anyone making a base of this size isn't a complete noob to the game, You don't have to explain every little thing such as putting down stairs to be able to place ceilings. Although, This video is out dated and this design doesn't work anymore so it doesn't really matter.
