Those towels are great for Animal Hospitals & Shelters. I love this unit. Your Wife is so calming. I love when the two of you work together. God bless you both. Great Locker!!!
Hey Wade and Ashley, didn't see a comment about the piece of jewelry you found in the bag with the mother's ring. That's a tie clip. You put the piece that looks like a hanger over your shirt button and the tie 👔 slips inside of the chain. Keeps it from floppy around. My old boss use to wear one.
Was this woman going to open a store of some kind?? This is incredible! I've never heard anyone saying "This is brand new!" so many times! lol You really made out like a bandit on this stuff!! Wow!
Body Glove is a name brand and the sunglasses sell from about $25- $40 new. Just started watching your channel and I'm really enjoying this storage locker. It's just got so much great stuff in it!! Just please treat all of these items with respect, new and old, not only will you get more money out of it, but also it is part of someone's life at one time. I'm am glad that you return personal items to the family. I remember seeing a big bible that had the repetitive name Collins or something like that on a lot of things. That bible also had that name printed on it. I'm sure someone from that family would love to have that back also. Just some food for thought. Great locker, great videos, keep them coming!
Sorta sad to see the Mother's rings, wedding rings and vintage class rings sold and not returned to the family. But I'm very sentimental and things like that are extra special to me, most people aren't that way. I'm about to believe that family members just boxed items up and put them in storage for whatever reason, without knowing what was in some of the boxes and bags.
the ring with different stones is a mothers ring, each stone is the month stone of a child. Used to be done a lot. And glad for all the brand new. You struck gold with this locker. So happy for you.
If I took a shot for every time you say brand new man I would be in trouble hahahaha lol love the videos you all are amazing love from edmonton Alberta Canada
Looks like you have found a retired Military ( marine) locker...contents very much like military from 1950's 1960's. Most of that jewelry probably bought overseas...and bought back when gold was still 40some dollars an ounce. My folks were retired military...I recognize not only jewelry but the kinds of things military wives bought...you found a great locker.
My son is a race car fanatic. He would die for some of these. Yeah more crafts, joy 😊 awesome cardstock sheets. I'm looking for Newborn to 12 month baby clothes, boy an girls. Fabulous so far.
Hi. I think you may have scored huge on the old Zenith radio. If it is original from the 1940’s they are going for thousands of dollars. There is one very similar listed for $4000. Hopefully yours will be worth a lot as well. This is such a cool unit, and you have been extremely lucky with all the items. Wishing you loads of luck
Just remember, while it's a great score for you, with some really cool stuff, it's the remains of someone's life - looks like it may be from a household put into storage, maybe because she's had to go into a home. I do rather enjoy watching storage auction vid's, but there's always that duality with someone who has had to give the contents up, which one has to have some sympathy for, as it's unlikely to be by choice..
Yep Body Glove is a pretty well known brand name in sportswear and related accessories, I guess. The Brother Embroidery is a very nice machine, but believe it or not…it is not “the Big Daddy.” Brother makes all levels of home sewing and commercial machines and even make some high-end home sewing machines that do all sorts of fancy embroidery and sewing tasks that have tons of software and design capabilities and sell upwards of $10 - $20k. Their commercial sewing and embroidery machines can sell for many thousands of dollars. I’ve sold or thought about selling paper-crafting supplies online before…for me it would be for card making but the supplies can be used for scrapbooking too. Scrapbooking used to be really big, but it’s not quite as popular as it once was. But when you go to buy paper supplies and embellishments it’s all still categorized under “scrapbooking.” Unfortunately, the embellishments and stickers are hard to get a lot of money back for it. I just donated a bunch of stuff to my church. Plus the big chain stores like Michael’s and others regularly have sales and clearances or big discounts on paper crafting supplies, that often include stickers, die cuts, stamps and ink, pearls & rhinestone stickers, paper punches…as well as patterned paper and the list goes on and on. And Dollar Tree sells crafting supplies too…so if it says “Greenbriar Corp.” on the back of packaging, that’s Dollar Tree. Yes,these supplies do sell, but they just don’t go for a lot…in my experience. 😊
I cannot get over all the NEW stuff! So awesome! And I can't fathom WHY anyone would buy all that new stuff and store it. What's the purpose? Never understood that.
Great stuff & goodfor you both with such an awesome unit. I deal with antiques & sometimes I think, he's gonna break something. Like when you threw the bag in the table. Gotta be careful in case there's breakable's. Gosh, thats really cool you guys got all that nice stuff.
Jeff Gordon did two undercover drives, the second one is hilarious too. The Brother sewing machine brand is the only brand licensed to stitch out Disney designs, maybe Ashley would be interested in that.
Love the video weight you've got a great cannot wait to see more videos in the future wish I could buy of U 😌 cause there is a lot of stuff I love in this unit
This series is the first of yours that I have watched and am gloating from Australia on all the craft gear.... have to admit to having quite a stash of craft stuff ('some' unused too 😉) but nowhere near this hoard... I had to smile at the greenish Living Bible in the last video... I have the exact one but mine is well loved and showing it's age as I bought mine in the 80s and it is one of my regular 4 go to Bibles. It's a pity the postage costs will prohibit participating in your auctions... or maybe that is a good thing 🤣🤣🤣 I would be sorely tempted. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures and will try to catch up with some of the old ones before I head back to school next week... I think this will be my last year of teaching, (in my late 60s) so some of my craft hoard may see the light of day again after that. 😆 I will be interested to hear the final tally after all your sales are done. I'm sure it will be way up there as units go!
Wade, I hope you let her have whatever she wants… I figured you were just giving her a hard time ❤ Man how do you get so lucky!! That is amazing!! Go buy a lottery ticket!!! Love all this!!
One of the Brother “sewing machines” is actually a “serger” machine.-finishes the raw edges so they do not ravel. (May not be in this video, but in a previous video of this same storage locker. Locker was so packed that it took a few videos to get through the locker)
this is one of the craziest units I think Ive ever seen you have! do you know the story behind all this. ALL those baby cloths and kids cloths and the mother and grandmother ring. shirley the family had someone that wanted one of them!!! its sure a big storage unit! Lovin it!!
Wade, do you have a gemstone tester? I think you might have some pretty valuable jewelry there that you really want to have appraised before auctioning them on What Not. The one gold ring that you found near the end had a high setting with two rows of what appeared to be diamonds on the outer with a row of garnets in the center, I have seen similar selling for 5 figures depending on the stones and quality. You also had a piece earlier that was a pendant with what appeared to be a blue sapphire surrounded by diamonds. That could be worth more as well. You flash through the jewelry so quickly that it is hard to see the stones, but I do appreciate that you have so much to go through on camera. I hope you do a recap at some time of the real winners that come out of this locker!
I think that one necklace is an opal instead of a moonstone. There’s a superstition that it’s bad luck to wear an opal if it’s not your birthstone unless it’s set with a diamond.
I want to bid on the craft lots, but I don't know anything about doing this on RU-vid. Would you please explain what I need to do? Explain as if to a 5-year old, please. I'm 78 years old and VERY techno-challenged! Thanks! Love your channel - you seem to have a knack for getting the really good units.
The green beads look like malachite. The picture of them was short and a little blurry, but if they are real malachite, they have a very rich green color. That is very collectible but you should sell it more on etsy.
O miss fashion bug. I shopped there often. Was so sad when they closed the store. It was always busy so i don't understand, Still have some Fashion Bug top and jackets I wear.
Don't disregard the value of the long fetish necklace (the one with teeth/claws). If it's a true Native American piece it could be worth more than you might expect. The 10 karat yellow gold pendants appear to be set with peridot (green), amethyst (lavender) and opal (what you described as moonstone). Loose beads are malachite and may have been for a Native American necklace at one time. Enjoy watching your discoveries and the treasures you uncover in each video from here in Michigan. Keep up the good work!
You can just call big mouth. The item is a tie holder, you hook it on the shirt button and the chain goes around the tie. My Dad wore them every day. I love all of you.
Can it be said, women hoard stuff (especially jewelry) and can be the best storage unit purchases? I may have to research how to find gems like your shared unit purchase. At the same time, I've read some sensitive comments wondering about the personal loss to those who once owned the storaged materials. I guess other somebody's (unit renters) need to profit from their losses as well? Enter new owners? Wade and Family, I enjoyed the total (informational) share of this units storyline.
I lived in Indiana and visited TX. I wanted longhorn drawer pulls like the hooks you are showing. They didnt have enough. They said wait till our guy gets here from Indiana where they are made.
Wade is like a kid in a candy store ~ and who could blame him , I would be the same . How nice to score a unit like this , it can be life changing , well done . ( Can't wait for those drums to be opened LOL )
Body Glove brand has been around for years. It's a sports brand. I believe mainly surfing. I'm 43 and it was around when u was a kid. They make clothing too.
I'm interested in your opinion on using Whatnot site. We're the only person I know selling on it. I'm going to start locker's in Nashville TN and open online and brick and mortar store chain this year. I'm bin watching all your four+ years of videos. Have a great new year selling.
Number 88 might be dale Earnhardt jr he also raced I know his dad drove 3 and 88 and if the cars are metal they are really collectible and are worth money
Nobody knows why this storage unit was lost by the original owner, and while it may seem sad to some you can't blame the person who buys them. The storage company have a business to run and need the units cleared so the can continue to rent them. If there is 'blame' to be placed it should be with them. Wade has paid the price asked. I love watching and hearing the excitement in wade. I would love to be a fly on the wall at his home on Christmas day! He seems a genuine guy and obviously doesn't always know the value or use of what he's unboxing. Who would, I know I dont. That's the exciting thing of going through it with him and his family. One man's junk is another man's treasure. Who are we to say what others value!
The #3 car isDale Earnhardt Sr . The #8 is his son Dale Jr.. the#24 is Jeff Gordon, the "#45 is Petty, the # 88 IS DALE JARRET. YOU HAVE SOME EXSPENSIVE CARS THERE THE SIZE OF THE CARS I AROUND #70-80 DOLLARS.WITH OUT THEIR BOXES IT WILL BE LESS.
I'm so behind. Too bad I missed his auction. I kept waiting for him to open the purple box because that should be a mattress. Guess I'll check the next video to see if it was.
As a Native American I find it offensive that your wife makes a RAIN DANCE comment on a necklace just because it looks " ethnic" that necklace may not have anything to do with Native American culture, and secondly If you are not Native American and have not been taught please don't try to do a rain dance that's offensive I normally enjoy your videos, but not with these comments
OMG,, I JUST WATCH THIS VIDEO AND I SAW THE 2nd WATCH from GENEVA with Diamond is most expensive don’t ignore please. And I don’t understand why silver 925 is more valuable to you guys than 18K or Platinum.. Silver 925, 10K, 14 K gold is not valiable here in Japan but I’m telling you the watch in blue box ( Geneva) and the ring with Ruby and Diamond is the most expensive
Makes you wonder who, what, when, how and why was all that brand new stuff just sitting in a storage unit. I'm glad you will find homes for all of the stuffs. It's OK at this point for saying brand new cause I'd be saying the same thing.
You hit it rich, on all new items. I don't know what you pd for the locker? But you guys did GOOD. I know those people are crying now. And think this is a Military Man's lock, and he was keeping all of us free. That is Marine Corp.
We would too. We’ve sped through 3 videos and still no clue what’s in the barrels. We won’t watch any more of them. If you ever find out maybe you could reply to my comment.
