A clinging outfit or attire on a skinny or modestly shaped person wouldn't draw attention as much as it being worn by a curvy and well endowed person. They need to address women's inappropriate dressing and explain exactly how it's causing men and boys to lust after them in church and outside which is a sin - men lusting after women and women causing men to lust after them. Some women wearing super tight dresses and some men wearing those skinny and super tight jeans/pants. It's a big no from me... I was in this one church, where they really take fashion to another level. There was this sister, if she was a sister in Christ who was wearing a very tight trouser. And then she joined a "line of prayer", to be "slained in the spirit" as it were. She then obviously fell, and needless to say that that scene was simply uncomfortable and, perhaps very "offensive" to some; but to me it was disturbing and actually disgusting. Sometimes, I think one has to read Romans 7 to understand the fight going in a born again man. I'm sure weman would not like to be part of the cause for that fight. And then there are other communities made of immigrants then communities made of locals. God is everywhere not only in the church, so when people say woman should dress decently when going to church that is hypocrisy. The issue here is a problem with a spirit of lust, if a slimmer lady or one who doesn't have an hour glass body was wearing such dresses it wasn't going to be a problem, there's nothing wrong with how these ladies are dressed the only issue comes when one who sees a lady with a small waist and bigger hips immediately sees her as not dressing well for 'church'. If they were showing their breasts or thighs it was going to be a different story, brothers in the Lord should ask the Good Lord to give them the spirit of self control and of a sound mind, if I'm struggling with lust or the spirit of it it's my duty to ask God to fill me with his Holy Spirit so that I can see men in a decent manner, it's my struggle after all, when one is clinging to the flesh or lust even a women who is wearing a huge coat down to her knees makes him distructed. The issue people have is they consider thick women more physically appealing or sexual attractive (it's a worldly standard no Bible teaching to support this) that has nothing to do with the women but who ever is looking, if a slimmer lady or one with a much bigger stomach and small hips will not be labeled dressing immodest then really the issue is not on these dresses.
You have presented some very good points there. Yes, the problem is with a person that lusts but also the one who just ignorantly dresses up in a way that causes others to lust has a problem. It's not one sided, both sides must be careful not to carry themselves in a way that would give the Devil an advantage either over themselves or over another. I got kicked out of my church for raising this point about our mam'fundisi at the time. The word of God is clear around woman dressing, women preaching, jewellery, head coverings... Such things we may not want to take seriously but Paul says anyone who disregards these instructions, which he received from Jesus in heaven, should also be disregarded. And then we wonder why God is hardly ever present in our ministries.

We men need to check ourselves, I don't encourage indecent dressing, but some ladies are gifted with good body shape, we want a beautiful wife, but want every other women to look ugly for us to survive as Christian, we watch movies full of nudity without problem, we walk the street, go to party without problem with our faith, anything resemblance to a curvy lady in Church make us uncomfortable. Let's stop seeing ladies as an object of sex, let's appreciate them, how many video of men with indecent dressing in Church is out there. Even those people covering up are not saints
I got done with the church 8 years ago. Im glad with that decision. Ladies, please keep churches for yourselves since you do not know much about men and our physiology. I am done being shamed for provocative culture.
Seek for discernment sir. I used to dress anyhow till the Holy Spirit directed me how to dress. Muslim women cover their bodies. If you cause someone to last after you, you are equally responsible. Thank you. And God looks on the outside too mind you.
But on a serious note though gifted sisters like that need to have mercy on us brothers for church time it's hard enough out there but now in Church also now it's helping purity and sanctification 🙇🏿♂️🙏🏾
Why should women consider man when they are dressing up though? Guys don't consider women's feelings at all when they dress up. Am just asking course I really need to understand this. Why can't man control themselves? Why is it a woman's job to that? Why can't man go church and pray and never mind her dress? Why is she such a distribution if you are spirituality grounded and true Christian? If she was not shaped like that it was not going to be an issue to man but because she is curvey she must cover up. Why should other women cover up and some are not? Why the discrimination? People come in all shapes and sizes. Let's acknowledge that God created her that way, maybe God shouldn't have done that so that men can go to church in peace.

Church is were you gather to worship God. Not to seduce or be seductive. You must respect God's house of worship. Another thing is that you should not be a stumbling block for your brothers in Christ Jesus. The Pastor and church leaders should set dress codes for the church members to adhere to. Not only for the women but men and the youth aswel.
1 Samuel 16:7 says "man looks at the outward appearance, but I the Lord looks at the heart. There so many women who cover every single part of their bodies from so many churches but their hearts are so far from God. As for those who dress as such, the more the Holy Spirit speaks to them, the more they'll realize that their dress code is uncomfortable not only to others, but them as well. And men should stop blaming women to hide their weaknesses and lustrous desires. Each person should ask guidance from the Holy Spirit. And remember "not everyone who comes to church seeks after God, some are workers of the dark forces and the enemy knows that there are brothers who are weak in churches and they are sent there to destroy them. Pastors and church elders included.
For me I think is very beautiful when woman are dressing modest in church but if they wear what makes them comfortable is also fine because God is more concerned about what you wearing inside your heart

A hunger of God is finish in church, I remember those days when I was still a church goer.I always want to be in my corner with my father and don't have time of who do what.This is thing that make going to church annoying, because abazalwane they gossip like it there profession.Church it just so religious and this brothers they are sick and they really need God.Can the church grow

I grew up in church literally, we use to dress in a very decent way compared to what is happening now,where young girls wear crop tops and legging to church, I think churches are becoming like clubs, "Bible carring clubs"

The Holy leads us to all truth. Speak to him on such matters but let us avoid judging people but let us bring our weakness shame and defeats to Jesus Christ and allow Him to deliver us from the desires of the flesh.
