The match between Thunder Rosa and Holidead was one of the best on the card. I first heard of both women when they teamed up in Ring Of Honor as Twisted Sisterz. Given their chemistry, if the powers that be in the NWA are smart, they'll find a way to bring them together again either as a team or opponents.

Can't Waite for Ivelisse to finish up her lawsuit with Lucha Underground so she can sign to Aew or WWE,She needs to be on TV to many female wrestlers steal her gimmick and do it poorly.She got everything a pro wrestler should have charisma in ring talent,She even carried her competitor in this match chick was trash...

Thunder Rosa just "competed" in an MMA fight? I'm going to venture a guess that she lost, since usually wrestling commentators promote the hell out of any MMA victory by a wrestler, even if they're dubious or against some out-of-shape no name scrubs like Jake Hager's two wins (and 1 no contest, thanks to his repeated low blows lol). It's one of the more annoying things about wrestling these days in my view.

Well, don't watch wrestling. Simply look at MMA. 2 different things. I respect both for what they are.

@@theone5404 I wasn't implying that it makes wrestling fully unwatchable, though I am largely a lapsed fan. I just think it makes wrestling look pathetic by comparison, and accentuates its perceived illegitimacy, as they're so desperate for MMA recognition that they're willing to trumpet a few minor MMA victories by pro wrestlers here and there as if they're serious accomplishments in the sport. It may work on impressionable wrestling fans who are utterly clueless when it comes to MMA, but to anyone else with even a scintilla of MMA awareness will look at such commentary as laughable, which ultimately hurts wrestling and perhaps even hurts the bargaining power of wrestlers looking to crossover into MMA even in a limited capacity. Speaking of which, Thunder Rosa's fight was such a gross mis-match that I don't think an average MMA fighter would've walked into as a debut if they were expecting to win - but perhaps that MMA organization in particular recognizes that pro wrestlers are so desperate for an entree into MMA they'll take anything. Even Punk and Hager got way more latitude in their initial opponents than that. At least Rosa showed heart, I guess.

However, I think pro wrestling needs to be pro wrestling and stop all the extra and slow down on the high flying stuff which will slow down wrestlers getting hurt so much careers being jeopardized. Also, let the guys use more of their amateur skills more often. I do respect the fact that they are legitimate athletes and risk their lives constantly. MMA is a different story. I appreciate what they do, but I'm on the edge in my mind because I don't think human spirit and body was made for any of this stuff. Be it wrestling, boxing, mma, pro wrestling, etc. It's all bread and circus. To each is own.

Yeah, she lost, but she did a great job. I'm not a big fan of MMA, it's boring to me. I see what entertains me and wrestling does just that.
