Why is it brave to forfeit? Maybe it’s the right thing to do, but it’s not brave. Women frequently compete against men and win. There is a 14 year old girl that plays against and beats grown men. He posed no physical danger to her unlike some other sports where transwomen are allowed to play so why not play against him?

Men have greater grip strength, power, reach and larger hands for stability which is why large men like Harriet have dominated so many games despite having much less experience than the female competitors. He has no regard for proper sportsmanship, honour and is smug about making a mockery of the game to grift for prize money. No doubt he'll be entering the junior competition next. Good for the female opponent, glad she got so much support from men and women who don't like their sport being mocked by dishonourable cheats!
Men are definitely better at cue sports but it has nothing to do with size and strength. If it did, snooker players would be big strong blokes but they are generally pretty weedy and out of shape. Men’s brains are better are judging speed, power angles etc. It really has nothing to do with strength and power

They play against and beat men. And to support and disprove what you stated at the same time I say look at 14 year old Savanah Easton who regularly beats higher rated men.

That’s pretty sad to see, pool isn’t a game based on strength it one of skill, so just play the game you got to the final so you could have beaten her.
If that’s the case then why have a women’s category at all, it’s there for a reason - the clear, obvious and general difference in standard between biological men and women - also something that is accepted by pretty much all female pool players

Why do you put a distinction on a strength sport?

Men are way better at pool than women. Women suck at most sports that don’t require and strength like shooting a sniper rifle or bow and arrow, you’re just not allowed to say they suck because idk it’s the truth. If it were up to me I’d have some of the best women play the best men and I think the women would do quite well after a few years and bring female pool to another level. But that will never happen of course. The irony is I am womens biggest fan I think they can beat men but it’s like our stupid societies won’t let them play eachother regularly at high levels

I agree men should not compete against woman in physical sports, and dressing like a woman does not make you a woman. there are definitely exceptions but men are overwhelmingly generally better, if there were no mens or womens competitions and it was just an open to all, you would see none or very very few women have any kind of results, which I suppose is why there is a womens category and having a biological man in their womens category does not make sense and is not fair, I really feel for them!
