Incomplete love stories are beautiful. You carry on with the memories of those forever etched in your heart that tends to come up now and then regardless of how busy you are in your life ❤️
My 50 year high school reunion is coming up next month. This song takes me back to high school thinking about crushes I use to have. Nice memories but I found my true love when I was 30.
I'm crying such tears of overflowing Love, listening to this beauty, hoping his eyes are closed while my soul dances through his mind. Thank you. I never forgot the love I shared with my dweeb 🌹😂😂♟️
Their harmnoies are so close you cant get a cigarette paper between them - OUTSTANDING. THIS is how I got hooked on Lady A. Sadly lost the love of my life - in 2001 in Illinois, in a car wreck.😪
"Dancin' Away With My Heart" I finally asked you to dance On the last slow song Beneath that moon that was really a disco ball I can still feel my head on your shoulder And hoping that song would never be over [Chorus:] I haven't seen you in ages Sometimes I find myself Wondering where you are For me you'll always be 18 And beautiful and dancin' away with my heart I brushed your curls back so I could see your eyes And the way you moved me was like you were reading my mind I can still feel you lean into kiss me I can't help but wonder if you ever miss me [Chorus] You headed off to college At the end of that summer and we lost touch I guess I didn't realize even at that moment we lost so much [Chorus] Nah nah nah [x3] Away with My Heart Nah nah nah [x3]
"I haven't seen you in ages Sometimes I find myself Wondering where you are For me you'll always be 18 And beautiful and dancing away with my heart"......... "I can still feel your head on my shoulder......" "I can't help but wonder if you ever miss me..." "I guess I didn't realise even at that moment I lost so much"...💔REW💔
This song reminds me I was 15 years old I was raised by a single mother In the Southern foothills Western North Carolina But I have deep roots on my daddy's side of the family In Eastern Kentucky Pike And letcher counties Especially Pike but I also know quite a few people in letcher My 1st love was a Southern bell Eastern Kentucky girl named Stacy when we was 15 I had just started driving then you could get your driver's license In the state of North Carolina now now the laws have changed lol probably for the better but I turned 15 in July and my mama passed In December of 98 At the time I was working for a great friend of mine farther The very large dairy farm in the county And I worked and raked and scraped With also helping my mother with bills and groceries To buy Stacy Her promise ring And to this day I hear though my life changed in a blink of an eye We lost touch but she still has that ring put up in her jewelry Box And it is one of her most Is cherished possession Other than her grandmother's wedding set BecauseMy mom and dad not even a month after I give her that ring and in my mother helped me pick up the ring and she has always held it near her heart she offered to give it back to me act to me but I told her to keep it as I remembrance of me and my mother and 2 young kids that was just crazy for each other I was the 1st boy she ever kissed and she will tell you that to this day even her husband and her childrenI'll never forgetOur freshmen danceFrom North Carolina 4 and a 1/2 hours to a little town called Is Jenkins Kentucky At Jenkins high schoolFor homecomingAnd I'll never forget she did not know that I was coming upKind of played hookie that weekend lolBut cause I had to leave on a Friday morning early to get there for the dance I'll never forget an old blue collar country boy from North Carolina rolling Up in an old square body Silverado that I had built out of junk parts from the ground upAnd I worked all Winter on it to get it ready with a lot of help from friends and neighborsBut I'll never forget when I'll pull up to her House and her mama Telling her to giveAnd she walked out with her grandmother's wedding dress which was a blue dressThat she had had Taylor to fit Stacy was smaller than her grandmother lol she was shorter andEver forget the look in her face when I rode upThe 5 hour drive drive Hours of workAnd all the money that I put out was Worth every minute to see her smile on her faceI'm almost 40 years old now we both are the same age I lost track of her backOver 25 years ago and just recently just recently found her mother on Facebook and she told me she had a good life and she still had that ring that I bought herShe swore she wouldn't ever get rid of it But the song brings aboutA lot of memories
@@miker8379 I do love Bartender too, but how can you compare such different songs, now you are in a dance mood, then you feel sentimental and listen to As you turn away, Golden, all we'd ever need, dancing away with my heart, If I knew then. I just adore romantic and soulful songs of them. 😍🎶🎤
