I would love to see an interview with Coco. I have to give her an enormous shout out for her amazing support throughout the social isolation. Her personal stories and words of encouragement were such a joy and inspiration. Especially for people that were alone in their isolation without friends and family. I sure miss her.

You had to be really tough, really witty, funny, improvisational, resilient to be a drag queen of that time. They were on the fringe of society, they weren't celebrated and almost common like they are today. It was a much, much smaller community.

You dont get our vote, until you give us what we want!” I’m hoping that the youth, all colors of the rainbow, the LGBTQ community, allies, everyone, GO VOTE! Its amazing to protest and stand together but at the end of the day, everyone needs to get into voting booths for not just the next president, but for city officials, and laws!

Don’t be so offended by everything in life. Imagine getting offended because somebody isn’t allowed on a show (even though they have). How many trans people play professional football or any other sports? Could think of hundreds of shows that have had a lot less trans people on the drag race. Tbf it seems like anything Ru says is deemed problematic so why waste the energy you know? People can’t handle opinions that differ from their own now. I think it’s unfair to just assume people that aren’t a part of the drag scene won’t do their own research to learn more. I’m a straight chick that’s only known like four gay people, a friend got me to watch Drag Race and I’ve been trying to learn more about drag from other perspectives not shown on the show. Yeah there are things I won’t readily or easily be able to learn about super quickly, but if I misspeak or am just clueless about something or share my opinion...people would automatically jump to “she’s transphobic or anti-trans. It’s like people want others to be just all accepting right off the back without given others outside the loop a fair shot at learning or growing.
