I didn’t realize there’s rain sound at the beginning until I heard the instrumental. There are so many little details that make this song great. Shoutout to Bloodpop and BURNS, this is a masterpiece
i randomly heard this song and really liked it but i had no idea what it was called or who made it. when I finally found it I was surprised it was ariana grande and lady gaga. Never thought id want to listen to a song by them, but the production is so good, tchami killed it.
Agreed, the french house vibes are strong with this one! I bet it is because it sounds SO MUCH like "music sounds better with you", which was (edit: amongst others of course) composed by Thomas Bangalter. :D
The detail in the layering of instruments and samples in this track is nothing short of INCREDIBLE. 1:35 into the track Bloodpop has sampled people dancing and talking in the background to fill the pre-chorus and I’m absolutely here for it. Even the added strings towards the end to enhance the outro. What an incredible track and producer.
I’m a big fan of Michael Tuckers production style too. The backgrounds are so innovative yet also simplistic. He is great And very young! This was the first album he got lead producer credit for!! He surprised her by being front stage at her LA Chromatica tour date.
That is just your subjective opinion. From an objective standpoint it is actually nothing musically innovative or particularly spectacular. Try ABBA, Max Martin and Quincy Jones. The arrangement is just the standard layout with a dance music style.
@@lepythagore3288 i think it's wonderfully mixed. the percussion clashes with the synths and guitar so good, better than the majority of other instrumentals. the addition of the strings at the end is just beautiful
I always listen to instrumentals when it comes to collaborations, because I like to hear what the artists heard when they were asked to consider a feature on a song. Because, ariana basically had to hear this and understand and trust Gaga's vision. It's kinda cool to consider that
