Forestella knows who fits which parts as they are the biggest fans to each other, so they let Ko WooRim (the bass) sing the French lyrics. If you wanna see all of them singing in French, watch Je suis malade (please blur or screen it to avoid copyright block) and if you like to see Ko WooRim singing in French? He has solo video of les Feuilles Mortes full in French. But I think you should check their Shape of you also the bass has the killer part. Talking about Thriller, please check Forestella's version of Thriller fan-cams from their concert tour. They had it with choreos! Actually Thriller is one of the triple titles in their 3rd album; The Forestella. And after Thriller they surprised the fans with Smooth Criminal, also a must-see performance.

This is a live performance on Immortal Songs King of Kings competition which they won! Welcome to the Soobyeol club! Great reaction. Ko Woorim has a lot of Solo performances. He had a solo concert before he left to the military as well. Listen to Autumn leaves ( French); Stars ( Les Miserable cover); Million roses ( sound track from My Mister) and many more.. Each of the Forestella members have excellent solo performances as well. They typically sing one solo each at the Forestella concerts. Kang Hung Ho has a few excellent originals as well under the name PITTA. Cho Mingyu’s Argentinian Tango’s and other Latin covers are exceptional! Bae Doo Hoon first sang Despacito as a solo, before Forestella sang it as group recently. All 4 shine on their own and as a group.

Thanks for continuing to react to Forestella! They all killed this performance, but Woorim (bass voice) - wow. Mingyu is the singer who sounded like Lady Gaga here. Some other fantastic performances of theirs are Hijo de la Luna, Je Suis Malade, Champions, and Parla Piu Piano. All their performances are great, though. You can't go wrong! Forestella fans are called Soopbyeol. Soop translates to "forest" and byeol to "star."

I recommend Inner Universe sung in Russian by Forestella. While you can feel each member's distinct personality, you can also feel their fantastic harmony.

Thanks for your fantastic reaction to Forestella again! I bring my English info about KBS Immortal Songs. If you keep reacting to Forestella, it'll be better to know about Immortal Songs. KBS Immortal Songs (I'll say IS) is a kind of remake rendition competition show for legendary musicians. Usually, someone living legend in Korean music is invited and 6~12 teams compete with a rendition of the songs related to the legend. But sometimes there are episodes inviting nobody and having specific themes. Now it's changed a little, the numbers of teams to 5~15. IS diversed the invited artists more like not only living legends but also popular young artists with multiple hit songs. Each episode has a winner by audiences votes. At each half of the year, there's a King of the Kings episode (I'll say KoK). At the KoK episode, the winners from each episode through the period compete with each other with any cover they choose. So in KoK, no legend is invited. This Bad Romance was for KoK of the first half of 2022. Forestella broke the record of their own by winning it for the fifth time in a row in KoK. The stage was bigger than ever because it was a KoK episode. Usually it was held in KBS hall, much smaller than where this video was filmed. Forestella began to be known to the world with their Bohemian Rhapsody and they have beautiful renditions of Heal the World, Scarborough Fair, We are the Champions, Smooth Criminal, Bad Romance, Despacito, etc. in IS. Actually they are very strong competitors in this kind of music competition shows. They also had awesome performances in Phantom Singer All Stars (I'll say PSAS) in which JTBC invited all the Phantom Singer finalists groups and had competitions among crossover groups. Their Shape of you is a MUST-SEE performance. They sang it in 3 different languages- English, Spanish and isiZulu (one of the African languages) there. And their Time in a bottle, Je suis malade and Inner Universe in PSAS would be also stunning.

Love your reaction.❤ Forestella are so good at changing the songs so that it becomes their own version. My favorites are Legends Never Die,❤‍🔥 Despacito (singing in Spanish) and White Night. But it's a little hard to pick a favorite. Time in a Bottle, Shape of You, Je Suis Malade (sings French). Lazenca saw us or Spread Silk on My Heart.

Well this was a wonderful way to start my day! Forestella is such an incredibly unique group, in my opinion many times utilizing the bass/baritone as a foundation and building from there. Individually each one is an incredible singer/performer. Woorim is the baritone and he did Arabian Nights from Aladdin on his own, each one has individual performances online. A completely different song that is So beautiful is Angel, definitely more of the classical tones. Thank you for sharing, loved your reaction Again ❤!

10:03 Their bass vocalist "'Ko Woorim" is actually a professionally trained 'basso profundo' opera singer! So there are some videos of him singing actual opera songs out there. But here are some Forestella performances that make his voice stand out more: "Lazenca, Save Us" (KBS Immortal Songs 2) More powerful rock feel! "Spread Silk On My Heart" (KBS Immortal Songs 2) Kinda hypnotizing, in a way.

The show is called "Immortal Songs (Singing the Legend)" because different singers take turns performing their own reinterpreted versions of famous songs by different famous "legendary" artists ^^ Another commentor ( @manaciel ) explained it better. Forestella have frequented this show a lot of times. And to answer your question, Forestella fans are called "Soopbyeols" which is Korean for "Forest Stars" (Forest-ella + Forest Stars) but I absolutely love Forestellians too!! 🤣

Thank you again, I just recommended "Je suis malade" and "Time in a bottle" but based on your background i just thought about a couple more songs from them. "Lazenca, save us" and "Spread silk in my heart" they both are Korean songs but i bet you'll enjoy them. And again, you can thank me later! ❤😅❤❤

I've watched many reactions from you. Sometimes I write a comment. Most of the times not. I'm a huge fan of Nightwish, Epica, Sabaton and many more. I'm also a big fan from Seo Taiji from Korea. There's another group that I like from Korea they are called. They are amazingly good. Like I've been to several live concerts from Nightwish and I'm going next year in 2024 to Epica live in Amsterdam where they will do a special concert with an orchestra and choir. They were only going to do 1 concert like that in Amsterdam but, it was sold out within 2 days, so they added 1 extra day. They are also going to do 1 day like that in Mexico. Those are only special concerts like that from Epica like that. Floor is going to have her solo concert in Amsterdam on December 8 and also Nightwish new album is on its way. Anyway BTS from Korea are amazing singers/dancers/performers. They are on another level. For Estella is also inspired by BTS. BTS makes very amazing performances. Please react to one of their unbelievable performances at the awards show from 2016 from MMA and MAMA, then move up to 2017, 2018 etc. if you have seen it you can see that Forestella these good singers got their inspiration from. Also BTS writes meaningful lyrics. Inspired by their live experience, art, writers like Jung, Hess etc. just like Thomas by Walt Whitman. They write, compose, produce their songs etc. Their albums are stories, connected. Right before COVID they released their album Map Of The Soul 7. They also support UNICEF. I think you mistook their name. Forestella is a name made through Phantom Singer. The first trio Trepython was changed into first quartet Forest, and finally became Forestella when Kang HyungHo joined. They are from an audition show called Phantom Singer on JTBC, whose goal was making a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. They are 2nd season's winner group classical crossover quartet, not Kpop idols from Kpop trainee system at all. I don't know what made you think Forestella was inspired by BTS. Hope they can be that big, even it's so hard because crossover is very niche genre.

I can't agree more with the volume!!! For some reason, these channels love to lower the volume alot. And as someone who listens to music on full volume to enhance the experience, it's kinda frustrating... (Installed a volume booster now lol) Other than that, amazing reaction!! So excited to see more of your Forestella journey ^^ As someone who also discovered them fairly recently, I strongly recommend their performance of "Je Suis Malade" (Sung entirely in French!!) Breathtakingly beautiful. But if you want something more powerful & rocky, I recommend: Lazenca, Save us. (Sung in Korean & Latin) Thanks again & happy new year from Spain!
