Her fashion was never a mockery of anything. Avante-garde and experimentalism are not mockery. She did that as it fitted her form of expression. And it signified a lot but people were too lazy to look past beyond what's typical.

She’s playing a character like Bowie always did.

Her influences were Modana and David Bowie. The ones that complained about her fashion are exactly the people who she was trying to make a mockery of. It made her a more of a success if you look at her achievements during that time period.

i doubt if she wants all that non-sense in her life. However, lets be honest. The only reason a mediocre singer like found this much fame and wealth was precisely that crazy unique presentation. Basically those are the only reason we are even talking about her. Cut all that out, she is just a neighborhood good singer.

Stefani is infinitely more attractive than all of the glamorous/odd personas Lady Gaga has presented to us. And she has SO much musical talent! So did she decide to reveal herself or, as I suspect, did Bradley Cooper convince her to try it? Maybe as a form of method acting to bring both her God given talent and her insecurity as herself to the screen.

And you don't get to see this moment in the final film. So it's little details like that that are fun to watch in "outtake footage" The girls were simply commenting on how romantic it LOOKED - well, I'm a guy and I agree! Lady Gaga was giving him those dreamy "bedroom" eyes- a look which YOU probably don't get too often, LOL. So please Sea Star, go get laid and stop being such a kill joy!

If you think about it, it makes sense, why bother paying a fortune for a mock up when you can use the real thing and get a real audiences feedback. It gives it an air of authenticity and grittiness. Willie Nelson’s son and his band are the backing band on stage that night. I would love to have been a fly on the wall when the audience realised that they were watching Lady Gaga live on stage filming for her new movie

Being an extra during a scene like this isn’t as great as you would imagine. You’re sitting there hearing the same song with the same staging choreography and movements dozens and dozens and dozens of times. It gets old real fast. Especially if there’s shit food at the craft tables for the extras if there’s any food or snacks at all.
