Me tooo😔. I mean, I got my friend into the album, but if it went for me MAKING her listen to the whole album with me, she wouldn’t of Inter first place 😪.
Watching other monsters react is the best . There the only ones that fully get it. We light up different for our queen cuz she lights up differently for us
Wow, this song is not only sonically power but lyrically as well. The instrumental makes you want to dance while the lyrics make you think of Gaga’s battle with PTSD. When I first listened to Replay I didn’t know whether to dance, cry, or both.
lol thought i heard little monsters too when i heard that part but she's saying "Your monsters torture me" She said in an interview that she wasn't talking about us little monsters. but even if she was I don't blame her. Because I do think that sometimes as a fan base that some of us put unrealistic expectations on her and it can become a lot for her.
It's so awesome seeing young folks getting into music. As an older dude, dancing to music like this back in the 80s-90s was a common occurrence. I was out dancing to these tunes 4-5 times a week. It's a natural high to dance to good music for hours on end.
I remember seeing a video when ARTPOP was released with two fans reacting to the full album in their car. I miss seeing fan reactions like these, Gaga albums are always such an experience.
I'm not a Monster BUT that song gave me chills, like EVERY freaking time I listen to it ! And I have to say, I've been listening to it like, more than 30 time today...I even woke up in the middle of the night because it won't leave my brain in peace...👾🤯 (edit: I just realized the song has been released 2 years ago :/ Kinda feel ashamed..) more edit :Better late, than *NEVER*
Damn they didn't react to sour candy? That's a shame, would have love to see what they thought of it. Replay has to be one of Gaga's best songs in ages! Fave of the album
I couldn't react to this song properly the first time, I was crying during enigma, the whole body chills and emotions from back in the day all came back
Don't worry, this song doesn't talk about, us, "little monsters" who love Lady Gaga. This song is about PTSD. In this song, Lady Gaga describes accurately, the various symptoms of this mental illness she's living with for quite 15 years. PTSD is a kind of monster living in one's head, sometimes, the monster is asleep and sometimes, it wakes up, rising up its ugly head to torture you. PTSD is actually, a scar in the brain and when PTSD is triggered by an external stimulus, the scars are on replay : the traumatic memory is on and rolls again and again in your mind, with all the emotions, pain, sorrow, anger, sadness you have already experienced at this time. You do feel numb, like a ragdoll, with no strength, no own-will and you feel dead inside. Every day, is a kind of grave to you. It's torture. Many people misunderstood this song because, fortunately, they don't have PTSD and they don't really know what it is. They never felt it. The monster is PTSD, not "little monsters". But for people living this inner nightmare, this song is a masterpiece, a therapy, a source of solace. Thank you Lady Gaga !
The scars are on replay… it’s about having to perform songs because they are hits that were probably dealing with her assault or were conceived during that time (some The Fame, the song Monster, etc.)
Replay is one of those songs that just make you cry for no reason 💫💫 Edit: Chills. Literal chills. Every. Time. Its like I'm listening to it for the first time. I'm bawling my eyes out over this song and for what. 😭😂
Literally i had the same reaction when i listened to it like 5 mins ago for the first time. Lady Gaga could literally be every gays mom and be happy about it
