Our friend Lady Gaga stopped by today to celebrate the release of her new single 'Perfect Illusion' and to chat about what's next for her... a new album + more acting!
Honestly, to all the people saying she's on drugs... she is working on an album, a movie, a TV show, and just went through a break-up. she isn't on drugs, she's over-worked and tired. If she were a "junkie" she wouldn't be able to carry on a conversation. She knows what she's talking about. Her success doesn't come while high on whatever. She works her ass off. That's all.
Totally true... She puts in the time and, effort for what she gets so, she can give it all back to her fans... She lives for the people who've been behind her and, stuck with her getting here...
Rachel Sparhawk your logic makes no sense a junkie can carry on conversations, sometimes better than sober people to better hide that they’re strung out. Idk if she is on drugs or whatever but her ability to speak properly isn’t an indicator
I hugely feel this "New Gaga", to me it's like we have finally get to know her roots, her feelings, her thoughts... Such a great personality to look up to.
yeah because everything else before that was the "fake Gaga" pffff. In fact Gaga was more vulnerable in the Marry The Night MV then in anything on Joanne. She was sharing such a big part of her life then as well. Some of you guys confuse the fact that she is boring now with being "authentic". I'm sort of glad she is losing fans by the bucket loads with each era. She has been nothing but lazy since Artpop.
This woman is connected to her True Self, her Soul or whatever you want to call it and therefore is connected to the world. She knows herself and therefore knows me and you. She is a gift to the world just as you and I are. None of us are special but we are all unique and I am grateful to be able to listen to her music. I saw A Star is Born last week and so many times her singing made me weep, I think because my Soul touched hers. This is what life is all about.....being connected to each other. I'm 73 years old but when Souls touch there is no age......that's Love.
I remember Oprah or Ellen asking Gaga , if we ever went to coffee and ran into you, would you be wearing normal clothes looking normal or doing all the extra stuff? and she was like well what are the chances of you running into me getting coffee. & it ended there. & I never thought we'd see the normal side of her, but I'm so glad we are . she's a musical genius
There are no other major artists out there who do what this amazing young woman does; connects to people in a real and, genuine way just being herself... She's so free and, casual the way she talks about things that matter to her, you can't help but, feel the honesty and, genuineness in her soul... She's not my idol, no human ever should be but, she is an amazing woman who came of age while I just happen to be on the planet and, for that... I am forever, totally grateful...
she is not perfect! that's what she's been trying to say this whole time. she wants a real connection with people where they don't automatically think she is perfect. but I agree that she seems like a wonderful person
If more celebrities would open up like this and tell whats going on in the industry and the impact of it on the world and people maybe we could finally make a change! RIP MJ
This interview was so deep and meaningful. I felt like for the first time I was hearing all of Gaga's true thoughts and inspiration behind what she sings. I love this new era already, and cannot wait to hear her new story.
Well I have binge watched ALOT of interviews, concerts, public appearances, EVERYTHING from letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy fallon, Jay Leno, Ellen, Oprah,, Howard Stern, Scott Mills, I have watched ALOT if not nearly all her interviews and I watched her 5 foot 2 documentary and a star is born and saw every premiere, Tiff,on youtube... I have seen ALOT and all I have to say is Wow😍! She is changing and evolving in operatic proportions. I feel she is becoming more Stefani and less Gaga,although Gaga is always a big part of her. She is doing a lot of soul searching and that is oozing out of her and making her vulnerabilities and her herculean strengths more intense. Love when she expresses what is in her soul. She is so spiritual. I really love that😍. The world is her oyster.
I love how she just harmonizes with Elvis even though she really didn't want to song. She saw that Elvis was being genuine (about her not needing to perform with him), so she just played along anyways. xD
You know, I love this feeling so much when somebody famous just comes down as a normal “down to earth” person, because then it is easier to ignore, all those stupid people that spread the boring “internet hate” and remember that all of them are just, insecure without a life experience. She is just a normal person and being normal is great.

I have fallen in love with Lady Gaga (again recently). After years of becoming a "fame monster" and letting the record labels control her, she's finally her own person again where she's not allowing a fake persona rule her life. I am extremely happy for her and loving the new songs.

So many people in the comments accusing her of surgery and looking different. Like, what. First, she is aging just like all of us. And with every era of her music, she changes her makeup COMPLETELY. Look at Cheek To Cheek, she looks the same. Same with ARTPOP, just different makeup. And Born This Way. Can’t even compare The Fame Monster and The Fame because it has been almost a decade since them.
When I listened to this interview the other day, I thought Gaga was described Joanne, when she spoke about a woman at her concert. Then she said it was herself, but now it turns out Joanne is the title of her new album.

Pretty sure GaGa is the artist they were referring to during the JoJo interview. I'm sure she got a lot of pressure from her record label to "look good" even though she just wanted to sing.
Love her, huge talent. I am a huge fan of the last Star is Born with Streisand/Kristofferson, I know the soundtrack inside out and have grown up with it. I don't feel sad that Gaga is in the new Star is Born, as she is an amazing artist just like Streisand. She so deserves the best x
