Goodness, she is still unmatched even today. The music. The vocals. The choreography. The way she is able to perform so well with the high heels she wears. The fact that she has a way of making it all hard to take in. Everything is so perfect. I don't know how she does it.
Well this isn't really her true voice though in this song. It's definitely been auto-tuned (adjusts pitch and whatever else) and regardless of the fact that she's younger , it barely sounds like her natural voice. I'd prefer if they hadn't messed with it so much here. She doesn't sound unique (and this is why many pop artists sound similar- the auto-tuning). It sounds like she cut way down on it in her later albums thank God, and now her voice sounds much more like her.
The year I graduated high school, my friend bought me the album for my graduation present and I’ll never forget rolling out of the parking lot playing paparazzi. One of my favorite memories.
Richelle Noble-Taitua Yeah, I know it’s a compliment but it doesn’t hold up because it’s inaccurate. Sure, she made good songs with deep meanings, but she was very famous for it (and still is), so the compliment just doesn’t make sense.
Can anyone write the English words from the beginning of the video? I am legally blind and I don’t know what they say, I don’t understand the Swedish version...
фаня!? фанчоуси! After she returns from the hospital, there are short clips of all the maids being murdered, apparently by GaGa. It's very short and easy to miss if one of the actresses hadn't mentioned it in an interview.
I refer 2008 - 2012 as the GaGa Era. People were terrified but amazed at the artistic view that she added in her music videos. They all told stories and was expressed in a original Gaga form. Yes, you can see a bit of Madonna inspiration, but this was Gaga's Era. No one was touching her at the time. I'm eager to see what GaGa is bound to do next
I love the evil smile and the gasp gesture she does after her boyfriend stops breathing and drops the glass. Also her putting her Mickey glasses on the dead man's face tho 😂
Gaga's artistic vision for her videos have ALWAYS been out of this world! I remember falling in love with her work before she blew up and just....amazing!
I remember being blown away from her music around 2008 and a friend asked me if I thought she was the real deal. Without hesitation the answer was yes. You could just tell she had it and she wasn't just a freak. Love her videos as much as the music.
@@billlowe6762 All prayers from Righteous SOULS aka Born again Christians, have power. Sinners prayers GOD hears not. Unless we REPENT and born again and LIVE HOLY, GOD hears none of our prayers. Prayers have power, but these must come from Changed hearts. Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Psalms 119:155 “Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.” (Many souls(unsaved souls), believe falsely and pray in vain).
imani watkins ( I tried, would have defended her against Evil; until l seen the mockery of the Disabled! Really? Guess, U forgot GaGa...) A Real Shame; NOT MY PROBLEM NOW! GOOD LUCK WITH THE OTHER 2 ANGELS!! 😉😡
Poker Face: She's at a party and plays strip poker and uses a guy to use her poker face. Simple. Bad Romance: human trafficking. She gets drugged and sold as a slave. Kills him at the end. Applause: She's on stage showing and her art and performing: living for the applause. Obviously.
Lol me too (and now while I'm re-watching it) I'm 20 xD and I'm wondering how was I that blind or dumb to not understand the meaning behind her videos 😂😂😂😂😂
this song makes me feel soooo old. I got this CD for christmas in 2009 when I was 18 years old. now I'm 28. time flies. this song brings back so many memories
@@linajung4635 It's talking about how, as a celebrity, they get no privacy and their whole life is public, to the point that it feels imprisoning or even dangerous - "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me", for example.
I watched this when it came out and when I say it I didn't know what explicit meant whatsoever😂my mom caught ME watching it and I got grounded for a week😂😂😂😂😂😂😂this song it still good tho❤❤❤
When I first here the song, I just admired how beautiful it is. I thought the song was about a royal fan’s extreme obsession toward the star. So this music video didn’t make sense to me at the time. Now I just realize this song is about the media and fame and the music video makes so much sense.
Burqa was going to be the third installment in the series, but the idea was scrapped and thus Aura was born. It's really up to the viewer/listener whether they count it as a continuation to Telephone, as it has references to It's original version.
Lady Gaga Presents: The Chased Criminal: Chapter 1: The Poison - Paparazzi Chapter 2: The Bailout - Telephone Chapter 3: The Betrayal - Aura Chapter 4: The Ghost - Haunted Chapter 5: The Crash - 911 To Be Continued...
I think bad romance is a part too I think that's chapter 1 like he met her then killed her she went to jail she got free met a girl killed someone went to jail
I remember always catching this video every morning around 5:30 or 6:30 in the morning before school eating cereal and making my snack I miss the times 😭😭🥺🥺
I vividly remember watching this and the music video for Bad Romance on my mom’s computer with her. I kept saying I wanted some of the outfits Gaga had in the videos, and I honestly think she was my *ahem* awakening. God, watching these videos makes me wish I could go back to when things were simpler.
@@familiakiara2990 O lançamento desse videoclipe foi em 2009, e eu tinha 6 anos. E hoje tenho 20 anos. Se ela tinha 4 anos em 2009, hoje em dia ela deve ter uns 18 anos. Mas eu disse 17 anos porque eu fiz esse comentário ano passado.
I'm a real Lady Gaga fan and found out a theory! So this tell a story in four parts "Part 1 Just Dance" Lady Gaga falls drunk and finds her boyfriend (the boyfriend on this) and they start dating "Part 2 Paparazzi" They go to Lady Gaga's place and Lady Gaga learns how to speak Swedish and French for him but then he detrays her and she kills him "Part 3 Telephone" She goes to jail for killing her boyfriend but Beyoncé bails her out and they escape "Part 4 Bad Romance" She sings about what happened (she speaks French to remind herself of him)
Didn’t realize how much I loved this music and videos until now, 10 years later. Perhaps because shit these days doesn’t compare to these old times and now I realize.
Is it me or do y’all watch this music video everyday !!??? I love this song !!!! I even learned her choreography with that white/blue dress dance ♥️♥️😩
