The boos were wanted by gaga for this performance, she wanted to represent the hate she received towards her artpop era, but then she slam them up with a flawless performance

Actually not her artpop era, this was the first artpop single, and two weeks later were the VMA’s where she performed applause for the first time. No one knew about her artpop era yet lol

Thank you for this reaction, I was waiting for it! This performance represents each one of Lady Gaga's eras till 2013. The begging was Born This Way, when people use to say she was over and things like that (the white dress looks like one she used at the Born This Way Ball Tour). When she changed to the blue clothes with the short hair, it represents The Fame era. Then the long blond hair represents The Fame Monster, the hair looks like the one she used at the The Monster Ball. In the end, she comes as Venus / Aphrodite, representing ARTPOP. I remember watching this performance on television, the ARTPOP era was definitely my favorite one.

If you want to see something different (but obviously still amazing), I highly suggest her performance for the 2011 VMAS. No costume change but a lot more acting. She surprised everyone. And the funny thing is, she was so in character she says she wasn't there. She said "I'm theater" and she showed us she doesn't mess around. Would love to see you react to the Born This Way Ball or the Joanne World Tour, there's no official release but you can find lots of fanmade DVDs on youtube. She was planning to go to Toronto with the Chromatica Ball but it's been postponed for now, might end up being cancelled but make sure to keep an eye on that, 'cause she was gonna do it at a Stadium so it would be one of her biggest tours.

Well, you missed probably the grandest ultimate performance of this song live, because you didn't attend the "Joanne World Tour". This song was hands down THE moment of that concert. It was THE moment for this song, in the ever-onward journey that is Gaga. There are so many videos of that performance, so find a really good one. Most are amateur audience shots...still exciting...but look at them. I think there's one that's a good compilation of many different audience views put together. Anyway...that was THE performance of 'Applause' that was not to be missed.

@@NewfieReactions Just a name for her concert tours. Started with The Fame Ball and has continued since. Its not just a concert, it's an extravagent experience. Unfortunately, the Chromatica Album Tour has been rescheduled again but I've got my Chicago tickets! I cannot wait. ❤ Now, if we could just get Blackpink and Ariana to come! 🤞
