Had to seek this out after hearing it on, “The Metroid Prime Experience,” video made by RudeJackArt. 👌🏾 I’ve never even heard the original song until tonight. Such a good song (both versions).
Crystal Nibarger yeah that's true i said it sounded like cher because the voice is toned down and because of the robotic autotune effect she uses in "believe", also this sounds kind of retro which reminds me of old pop songs just like Cher's classic songs
5 years old in 1988 when I saw Gaga perform this and other classic hits on a Top of the Pops special. It was Doctor Who and this song that ignited my love of science fiction. Every time I hear this 80s gem, I'm back amongst the stars all over again.
My god, these two songs blend flawlessly. Who knew that Venus (Rocket No. 9) and Head First would work so well with each other. Its like this could be love
What a great track. Back in 85 my husband-then-boyfriend saw her perform this at the Hollywood Bowl. Her Cheetah wig, dress and makeup was FIERCE. The energy, the peyote, the thupping of the bass and funky leg warmers... The best concert EVER!!!! That was the night he popped the question and I said 'yaaaaaaassss!!!'
This blend of the two songs is simply and solely incredible! It delivers so much energy that you truly want to be taken away by the groove. Hats down to the composer of the mix! RU-vid Music recommended me this song. I was unable to find the song on other streaming platforms and then it took me by surprise that this actually is a blend of two songs. Well done to the creator of this mix!
So many nice memories with this song... remember playing nintendo with my buddies and this song came on radio out of nowhere and we were blown away by the cosmic future sound... maaan, it s been almost 35yrs already :/
I don't see enough alternative timelines on here.... Remember the Gaga Concert in Wembley Stadium back in 1987? That was awe inspiring historical moment for the pop industry. Too bad that cocaine overdose took her away too soon. Another life claimed by Club 27.
Slow it down to 0.75x and it sounds like a chill, aesthetic vaporwave song and speed up to 1.25x and it turns to a disco hit 😂💕💕💕 one of my faves from Artpop
