When she talks about Mental Health just made me think of My dad who had OCD, Manic Depression and Bipolar, he committed suicide almost 5 years ago when I was 18, I've been struggling with anxiety depression for far longer than I myself even knew (after talking with a psychologist I learned I had it while I was younger (after my mom passed away it started)) this Sunday coming [5 days from now] I finally get to go in and have my semicolon tattoo done, which, in perfect timing, is for a fundraiser where all proceeds to go CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association] which i was introduced to through my dad, 💖🙌🏻 I can't wait to finally have it done 💖 And to everyone who has to battle mental health on the daily, stay strong and fight through it 🙌🏻 you are a strong and phenomenal Warrior. 💖💖💪🏻 ;;;;;;;

In my darkest hour I’ve contemplated taking my own life because the agony and pain was too much to bear - but I’m in therapy right now, and I spoke up to those I love and trust and now I have a support system that’s keeping me afloat. Never feel ashamed to tell people you’re not ok. Isolation is the worst thing you can do. No matter how hard it is, you have to pull yourself up. I never knew that when my mom died from Cancer when I was 2 years old would come back and affect me 47 years later. Boy was I wrong! I’m taking one day at a time and look to the day that I bust down that wall of trauma and on my way to healing. I love you mom! ❤️
