I loved Aaliyah so much. I still miss her every day. A lot of entertainers die young and get praise heaped on them simply because they died untimely but Baby Girl was truly a blessing to us all and her influence on music was something special. Her style, her voice... Everything about her was perfect.

Beyoncé is an incredible artist, one of the greatest entertainers to ever do it. Sad the mainstream media and locals ruined her greatness for the public.

I find it weird how they turned the camera to her after Patti said Aaliyah would be an icon in the future. 😗

I remember this like it was yesterday, I was 6 years old at the time and I remember when it was hard to believe that just a week ago from this lady of soul train awards, Aaliyah was on my favorite show 106 & Park on August 21. Nobody expected her to be gone just a week later and for her not to be at this award ceremony smh. It was and still is just so sad. She had a promising future and we all just wanted to see her continue to go far and be successful. I miss you Aaliyah. R.I.P.

Luther Vandross had a stroke 2 years after Aaliyah died in a plane crash. He later died in 2005 as a result of the stroke 2 years earlier. RIP to Aaliyah and Luther Vandross

@Christina Street You people need a life. Beyoncé and Aaliyah were enemies when she was alive, so why the hate on Beyoncé and the Beyoncé vs Aaliyah crap. Let that girl rest and stop bringing Beyoncé name in stuff about her.
@demarcushoward4294
@demarcushoward4294 3 года назад
@Christina Street Um I’m not the one in my feelings over a singer I don’t know and won’t let somebody that has died, Rest In Peace. You think where Aaliyah is, she’s worrying about Beyoncé or this life? Meanwhile you didn’t know Aaliyah and worrying about something that happen almost 20 years ago. Like Keyshia Cole said, Let It Go & Get a life.
