A million happy nows, very matured, very educative, very amazing, very beautiful and I'm so grateful for that movie, thank you so much Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia for your amazing talent
Loving this...we are all connected...by Otalia and by Crystal and Jessica. Liron and Mimi are together because of Otalia and I am so glad to see that their love lasted, just as Susan and mine has. We met through an Otalia fan meeting and we were married a year later. Forever grateful!!!! XOXO
What a great interview, I loved it. I am so thrilled that Crystal saw the value of her relationship with Jessica as a working partner and friend. Clearly these two are meant to be together in whatever capacity they choose. One of the payoffs is a loyal fan base that would follow them anywhere. To be honest I've never been a soap fan mostly because of a misconception the acting would be poorly done. Happily these two women totally blew that personal prejudice right out the window. I am so impressed by the both of them but it's not just about their ability as actors. The connection they have on screen looks to be followed into their real lives and whether they see it or not, to me they are the found puzzle pieces that fit perfectly. It also appears that in real life just as it was on Guiding Light they don't need consummation to convey a deep affection and love. Well done you two...these interviews wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable if there wasn't the connection you have with each other. Side note......I would love to see an interview with Sarah Shahi and Amy Acker. These two have a huge fan base as a result of a relationship they had on Person of Interest. Thank you both.
Thank you so much for interviewing Jessica and Crystal.. I love them both . I have seen everything they are in hundreds of times. They are both amazing together . I hope they continue their partnership. Thanks again
I've watched and enjoyed this video several times. It led me to purchase Venice the Series, and watch The Grove the Series and A Million Happy Nows. Thank you!
I had to stop the vid right after Mimi said that after Otalia fell in love, GL didn't allow them to even do what FRIENDS would do! That is SO true! I have been revisiting the Otalia story the last 2 weeks & it bugged me that Olivia kissed her NEPHEW on the LIPS, (who does that?!) but could never even give the love of her life a peck on the cheek! That was a real slap in the face to Otalia fans. In so many scenes they would part w/o even hugging, like when Olivia left after talking w/ Natalia outside the police station when Natalia was waiting for Rafe who was applying for a job.
Exactly! Just watched the nephew scene today. Still pisses me off. Also, showing their feelings physically was off limits, but the writers still exploited that "image" by having more than one man on the show be titillated by the thought of them together.
Hi there. I realise this comment was made several years ago. I just wanted to share with you the thoughts of someone who only just found this show and this couple, in 2023. I totally understand the constraints of the time. And the fact that this couple got so much airtime on any show is kind of amazing. BUT... as I watched the relationship bloom but the physicality between them basically banned, it occurred to me the producers painted themselves as more homophobic than the characters on the show. I know how unfair that sounds, and I'm sure if they had pushed it further, we'd have been dealing with yet another 'bury your queers' scenario. It's just really unfortunate, and a victim of the times.
Remember that Crystal Chappell as Olivia Spencer and Jessica Leccia as Natalia Rivera are still ♥️ together ❤️ forever, Crystal Chappell was meant to kiss Jessica Leccia the real lesbian couple
I'm from England and so the only reason I ever found Guiding Light was because of Otalia on RU-vid!! forever grateful, honestly the sweetest most genuine feeling couple everrr
Not only are they beautiful, but they are also talented, dedicated in everything they did. The passion, the emotions, the performance and the work put in with so much love make it beloved by the public, I love this series and not only Well done ladies hats off❤❤❤❤
Ikr this movie forces me to check their personal life out and I was really annoyed to know that they are married and have kid(s) with their husbands...I almost cried when I found that out. they look so fit together

I wish they'd do another project, be it movie or web series, where their characters are meeting for the first time. I like these other shows, but want to see them do a start of relationship type arc.
Love this video this video 2019& still watching, hugs to all you fabulous women I've watched and enjoyed this video several times it led me to purchase Venice the series and watch the Grove the series and a million happy nows thanks u love them both so much 💕🥰💗💗💗🥰
My jaw dropped when you showed the Soap Opera Weekly cover! My favorite soap magazine ever! I kept my whole collection in boxes through TWO moves... and then my wife said, "Really???" on the third move. So before she secretly enlisted me for the show "Hoarders", I parted with them. :)
Crystal really did what Prospect Park couldn't. Both had these fabulous actors, but the difference in product is amazing. Sadly PP just failed at every step. Venice is what lifelong soap fans hoped what could be done.
I agree, it's hard to pick one favorite scene in Otalia. But there's two scene that I found sad. When Olivia broke down , at the retreat. Searching for Natalia. The other one, when Natalia is sitting on the floor. Asking Olivia to hug her. Olivia didn't hug her.
Fell down the Otalia rabbit hole in the last week or so. I know that what is okay for daytime soaps to show today is vastly different than when this story aired. There were only two things that I saw or see that would be different today if the story were told. First and foremost we would see all the affection. Secondly we would have been given meaty chaotic storylines for each of our gals as well. Not saying the new storylines that are on like GH or YR or better because they have these two very important components, in fact I would go a step further and say that because of the freedom they have now versus then, we've lost a lot of the push pull angst. Anyway, Mimi and Liron.... I'm about to fall down your Lady Parts show rabbit hole next. The fun discussion on your reviews and guests still are top-notch! Man it would have been awesome if there had been a way for Crystal and her production team to have given us a genuine Otalia story conclusion, but at least we have Venice but Otalia will still be the best! Thanks! 🥰❤️😘
it look to be a very interesting interview but wish it was cc shop I can understand what's being said. these two are great together. beefsteak of these two I'm wanting to find my forever love and it's hard being single for 21 yrs now.
Otalia fandom is by far the luckiest one in the history of fandoms🙌🏼 what started as simple ship in a very ancient soap opera became a Tremendous relationship in and off-screen creating a very prolific media legacy🤩 Why after so much development and success the channels and production companies still made such 💩 fictions?😒!? We deserve better representation 🍀🌈🤞🏼
Thank you so much for this video .I have been a huge fan of Crystal and Jessica on screen couples they portray. But if they were both single , do you think they could fall in love with each other ? Just wondering .
A few weeks back Crystal did a live chat thingy on Twitter/Periscope and she said that the main writer had some serious personal issues. However, she was still trying to get The Grove up and running (again).
A Million Happy Nows was an okay film that in my opinion could have used a more passion between the couple. It reminded me of Otalia in that the 2 characters only kissed once, maybe twice. With a budget film, I expected more. Heck, Venice has waaay more passion.
As far as we know, the movie is not out to the general public, yet. As soon as it is available, we will hopefully be able to review it and let you know how and where to find it!
ive become totally hooked on the otalia, venice the series, the grove. i came across it by accident on youtube and oh my gosh have i now become obsessed with it uhm really awesome series all of it thank you it was amazing to be part of the people who can say they viewed it im gonna go see the movie cant wait.
I was watching crystals journey as Olivia in gl from start to end and the amount of men Olivia slept with etc to then being with Natalia that’s some willpower of not being able to b sexual cus Olivia is and was a very sexual person. Damn oaps in charge cus they are clueless
