Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 76 and Rescue 86 were dispatched to a hit and run traffic collision at the 3300 block of Barham Boulevard. Engine 76 arrived on scene to find a two-vehicle collision with one patient trapped. Engine 76 requested a physical rescue assignment to work on extrictating the patient from a badly damaged Mustang. Firefighters utilized hydraulic rescue tools to free the patient where he was then transported to the closest trauma center by Rescue 27. LAPD West Traffic Division is working on finding the hit and run suspect involved in the crash.
