lag spike bug on minecraft PE, help how to fix, bug or device problem? 

Update:based on my experience on 1.21.30, the lag spike is not there anymore Update 2: returned on 1.21.31, don't update it. CURSE YOU MOJANG

I remember encountering this in bedwars, being lag frozen for about 5 seconds and the next thing you know im in the void with my bed gone.

Finally I found the same situation as I had. Game freezes immediately then comes back again and it lags so hard like about 10-15 fps I guess (I've played on a 1 GB RAM Phone for 3 years and used to play LAN) Your processor might be bad (I had Helio G35) that's why we had that issue. Whenever you're in your single player world or in a server, you're still experiencing sudden game freezes.

Okay i: - Format my phone - Downloaded only minecraft on it - Downloaded fps boost textures packs (render distance limiter + particales remover + fog remover) - optimized my video settings Still lag exists

Yeah 1.20.30+ lag spikes was added

With my phone im getting 120 fos consistently even in the hive hub but lag spikes still happen all the time

Trying to get a skeleton to kill a creeper is frustrating. My game freezes and next thing you know the creeper already exploded and the skeleton shooting at me rapidly just to rub it in. Does mojang even care abt bedrock's performance anymore?

Lower the render distance,disable fov alternating,fancy graphics,fancy clouds,view bobbing etc it could help

They Fixed this problem in 1.21.30 currently i am playing beta the lag spike is now less frequent and hangs for around half a second which wont affect gameplay

I hope mojang fix this im stuck in 1.20.15 and very sad i cant now play server hive for pvp every second fighting in enemy or running your game frezzing this shit i know realy this started in 1.20.30 the rendergragon much aded i hate this shit shit shit that why i quit minecraft i will be wait unitil the lag spike gone

minecraft and mojang started to suck 1:in 1.20.30 they didn't optimize the game 2:in 1.21 they removed addons 3:after 1.21.23 my world has chunk errors 4:they ruined minecraft film trailer i think they want to stop making minecraft because they got bored of it

i simply wanna say as a SnapDragon 685 user this is a game issue not a phone issue i was playing again today and encountered it i did everything i could and the bug doesnt go away my only guess is they simply forgot to fix it or maybe bc the block break particle or other block particle is allot and makes this lag spikes but its 100% a bug do not blame your mobile devices aldo in iphone it doesnt lag spike so either mojang is racist to android and nice to iphone. Anyways just be patient and wait till they finaly notice and fixes it.

Yeah i can encountered this too in ny survival World When i was fightning mobs. My game just Frozen Not moving but when it unlag I died its so annoying And also on blocks too when im breaking or even sprint-jumping Annoying BUG remove this Mojang >:(

This really is one of the most frustrating things ever because for example I will be maybe 10 or more blocks away from a creeper and literally every single time there's a mob nearby I will have a 4 to 5 second freeze and then the next thing I know I'm either dead or to grab a damage from something or if the creepers far away it just instantly appears next to me and explodes

I am having this problem since i have updates to 1.20 i tried everything but stiil i am having a problem. I think having a high end device doesn't matter for this lag spike, even if you have a high performance device it will lag. I wonder when minecraft will fix this issue. 😢

Ram or network problem, or else its probably a malicious application slowing down ur device, to fix it probably just delete all apps installed from the internet and only use the play store or app store

Same issue with my game, i really hate that freezing for like 3-5 sec, or i see creeper there and the game freezing for 4 sec and the game come back normal but got died, thats a real issue with MCP, i hope mojang fix that.💔

for me it’s the servers and sometimes it freezes my game up to a minute, everyone is just stationery and breaking blocks is weird. When I was playing bedwars, this shit happens and everyone froze, I was like: “why no one moving” then I tried to break the enemy’s bed and it was broken but ppl was still frozen and I was kinda scared so like, I thought the server was like rebooting or something but no, it froze for a solid 1 minute. Then after that, everyone went back to normal, I was also teleported back to where i was when the server froze, the enemy’s bed was also not broken and it was like the past repeating itself. The server I was playing is Nethergames btw and it’s not laggy or anything but it just happened

I use redmi pad se with 8gb ram, it plays smoothly up to 90fps, but then out of nowhere its just freeze spikes. It works if i put render distance to 6 chunks but that for me is not optimal to play at

Ive been having lagspikes soo much that in my resent survival world i died while fighting a blaze cuz of the spikes instead of mojang fixing the performance of bedrock fix all bugs to make the game playable and releasing a performance update mojang only cares about the marketplace and micro transaction on bedrock. I know step 1 if u on 128 gb device make ur stoarge to 25% that will cause no lag if that didth work step 2 clear up some useless data apps that u dont use if that still not worked step 3 clear background apps and make sure dark mode do not disturb on if u have priority mode turn it on. Try lower your frames to 60 that's what i did, at first when i break a block it lags then after that it runs smooth now .

I think there's no way to fix this except Mojang itself Even if you used all Settings on low 1pixel texture No particles Turn off mobile data or wifi No background apps running You'll still gonna get it sometimes, it's just straight from 60 fps down to 0 So yeah, we just hope Mojang knows about this issue, because it's annoying. Sometimes if you play in server, it's just going to close the game.
