Not drinking for over a year now has been like taking a bit of a blindfold off for me and I can trust that a lot of why I chose to drink was avoidance. It doesn’t make me a superhuman or anything but the benefits of sobriety outweigh the negatives for me. All the best on your journey 💛

Such an inspiration. I am currently struggling with my drinking. I am completely functional however I don’t like that I feel the need to drink everyday. I always made excuses like “I work hard so I deserve it” “it’s not like I am getting drunk” “drinking is my only vice now so I am doing better than I was” etc but lately I have been realizing I do have a problem. Stopping seems overwhelming. ❤
