Ludo, it seems like the fastest way to travel is by bike and it allows you to skip much of Lagos traffic so I get why u like it but please do be careful. You drive very well but even despite that there are too many close calls in such short video. Take good care and stay safe!

If you remove the island from lagos,lagos state is one giant shanty,a heap of dumpyard really.I dont know what the government is doing.ln the west cities and countries copy the good things other cities and countries are doing,lagos should copy what kigali,even lbadan are doing.They need serious urban renewal and set a standard...There was a time when l was younger in lagos,nigeria had a purpose and order,cars stick to lanes,in traffic bikers can filter through, but today,there is hardly road markings nevermind staying in lane.Thank you.

You are right.Lagos is operating well below par! Lagos might need the federal government support! And that support, I believe, would be to fully activate a fully autonomous local government. Under normal circumstances, There is no way Ajah should come under the Eti Osa local government area! But because local government are just that only in name, that is the sad reality! Just 3 local government areas in Lagos??? Sheeeeezzz!! Alausa in Ikeja cannot manage or take care of a state that has such a huge urban agglomeration! There is a vast amount of work to be done! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

clown countries don't developed overnight lagos has actually developed rapidly in recent years
@suntanglory

@@jidebolarinwa697 Bless your ignorance!Just as your forefathers fought and resisted those that came to deliver them,due to ignorance,you haven't change either.Nigeria existed before Rome,Eko existed way before the Portuguese came,if they can not resurface a common road and fix potholes still,when is this your development coming?It's the hope that kills!Keep hoping,without doing anything about it.Even ukraine,afganistan,lybia are doing better than country that is suppose to be at peace.
@aframaco9491
@aframaco9491 Месяц назад
@@jidebolarinwa697 Development is not just people building personal houses, spreading all over the place and neither is it building a few skyscrapers! Development is essentially about having advanced systems to help operate and maintain society! 24 hours electricity, healthcare services, constant water supply, garbage collection and recycling systems, infrastructural monitoring and maintenance systems, tax collection etc... It would take recognised and proactive, multi layered tiers of administration for a start! London with some 9 million population has 32 local government districts that oversees it! Lagos with its over 20 million population has only 3or 4 local government areas! Abuja FCT which has only some two million inhabitants is actually run by a minister in partnership with the Abuja municipal area council and has 7 local government districts, and because it was a planned city, they can get away with it for now! Not only is it impossible for Lagos to develop, it is also incredible that Lagos should be referred to as being developed! Until the state government partitions and establishes more local government or local authorities within the city, it will struggle futilely with any meaningful development in the true sense of the word!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

@@suntanglory Lagos was not developing in the past that is why we are where we are today, but in recent years development has been rapid, this same ajah that looks like this used to be worse, you cant just wake up and lagos will look like heaven overnight, it take years for countries to be fully developed and lagos is going the right direction. 2030 lagos will be definitely better than 2024 lagos.

Lagos is really behind Abuja in beauty. Until you passed Lekki toll gate, Kaduna was looking a lot much better. I know the high way is a federal road but Lagos state should at least employ people to be sweeping off all sands from the roads. You can't see sands on Abuja roads. Abuja roads are always clean.
@Ludo_Liu

Really interesting. Thank you for showing a part / side of Africa people often don't see. Question - you must be skilled driver. How is it with fatal / major accidents on a road like this, where there really isn't any rule or right of way ? Many or few accidents ? No bycycles visible, must be too dangerous. Maybe there are smaller sideways in parallel ?
@Ludo_Liu

Look at the state of expressway in lagos,with massive potholes?Not until Nigerians start taking these government to court for damages and accidents caused by bad roads the authorities will not take road maintenance seriously.l think lagos state need wike,the fct minister as governor.This entire road need resurfacing.
