Hi Aunty Tolu, thanks for this wonderful video. New subscriber here! 🎉🎉 Please if you can, take us to Orange Island which is not too far from Cowrie Creek, that’ll be great. Thanks again.
You can see the difference it makes without huge fences. Better breathing of fresh air, appreciation of beautiful homes and surrounding. These fences are a sign of people and society that have been overcome by gates of hades. All this metal gates and fences does nothing but put metal in the subconscious..... The state should bring back nature, plant more trees, flowers and greenery, that alone would help reduce crime. The destruction of our natural environment and replacing it with concretes is contributing greatly to the level of insecurity and shorter life span in Nigeria.People just haven't woken up to this truth yet. Thanks Tolu for this masterpiece. Cheers!
True, but I personally would love my back space a bit fenced or covered for privacy when I’m relaxing by the pool without my neighbours staring at my every move.
Nice one again Tolu, well done and keep up the good work by shining the torch on Nigeria especially Lagos which is now beyond recognition compared to when we were growing up in the 60's. Watching from the UK dear 😊
Aww Wow in the 60’s I am glad knowing this thank You so much Sir/Ma I am glad you enjoy my content it’s a pleasure having you here thank You for sharing.
Happy New year to you Nekoda🥰 I am glad to have you here. Amen to the prayers and may God give you a special surprise this year. Thanks for showing up ❤
I don't like no fence houses, but the problem is when the fences are too high. Any fence above 6 feet is bad. at 6 feet you should still see about half a bungalow house. i like that little privacy and extra space a compound gives you. but i don't like when the fence are too high.
There are No Malls ..There are No Supermarkets....There are No Shopping Complex....There are No Restaurants...There are no Food and Fruit Stores.... Then No Building for Male Shops for Male Barbing...Male Braiding ... Female Shops for Hair ... Facials...Feet ..Hands Treatment....Why?
Its still purely residential but just outside the estate you have all these in a very short distance. When you have major commercial activities you may end up comprising on security cause ppl from outside would say they are going there.
Where person wan kon get 10 million naira land wey no bad ... all the good ones na atleast 30million naira, for ordinary land ooh....wetin happen, Toluwa nile oooh!
Beautiful homes, dreamy residential estate. Land in Lagos is mind boggling expensive. Almost a million dollars for just 800 square meters?! The land owner must be laughing all the way to the bank, outright ripoff!
Cowry Estate is a reclaimed land from the Lagos lagoon. It cost almost half the price to sandfill each plot and the cost of perimeter fencing, infrastructures like tarred road, electricity, drainage, potable water. Everything was done by private investment without government involvement. Infact government has to be paid heavily for necessary approvals to embark on the project. The investors definitely have to recoup their investment and generously rewarded for the value provided.
@@amosadewuni460 Thanks for the clarification, I bet government ought to support such investments that will make decent and quality housing affordable to most populace
You’ll pay a million $ plus, for 200 square meters in an AVERAGE neighbourhood ( not exclusive neighbourhood like this) in ordinary parts of cities like Hong Kong, London, NYC, Toronto, San Francisco, Paris, Singapore, Melbourne etc, the exclusive neighbourhoods in those cities are much much more expensive, much less 800 square metres in those cities is almost impossible to buy, which is informing us about land planning in Lagos….
I am so sorry my phone was stolen I just got back the line today. I should be able to respond from this Evening please resend your message just incase. Thank You.
