Holy smoke I have seen Liabach live. Even in small clubs they are the same. Amazing! Milan Fras is one of the coolest front man of any band anywhere. Awesome female vocalists also as well. Highly recommended if you ever get a chance to see them ( IMHO they are better than Rammstein)

Вот сюжет... Декабрь 1994. Laibach дают концерт в Москве в ДК Горбунова. Перед концертом ребята из Laibach дают автографы. Я подхожу с CD альбома Kapital и прошу сделать автограф на буклете. Говорю: " Schreibe mir bitte - Ein Gott, ein Laibach" Мне отвечают: "Das ist unmöglich. Gott ist Gott, Laibach ist Laibach". В конце концов я ребят уломал, и они сделали автограф с надписью "Один Бог, один Laibach". А когда на альбоме Jesus Christ Superstars я увидел композицию с названием God is God, я подумал: а не я ли послужил толчком к созданию этого хита? Ответ может дать только группа Laibach😊

I just realized the endless irony in this song. I don't know whether it is intentional or not, but it's priceless. People usually "accuse" Rammstein to have stolen their style from Laibach, die Krupps or Ministry. I know that this song is a Juno Reactor cover, but the main riff is really similar to Rammstein's Heirate mich from Herzenleid (which came out in 1995, this Laibach song is from 1996). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IZWuYsVsTXg.html I don't know if it was intentional, but it would be a quite funny narrative that Rammstein copied Laibach and in return Laibach copied Rammstein :D
