P.S. Mounting the outter tube in the inner tube I didn't put grease just to show the high sliding after the treatment. I forgot to mention that I use the grease when I mount the oil seal...but not in the bushing.

English is good! When you mention clearance between the bushings and tubes, what should that thickness of clearance be?

Hello, I have a loose upper bushing on my showa sff type 2 fork and I plan on trying to shim the bushing and reduce the play, I have all the right measuring tools etc. but I must ask what clearence should I aim for?

Do you sell that pole to remove the friction?? And also what grit sand paper on the fork tube??

@@50271 non ho capito il commento. Lavoro da vent’anni e faccio i corsi per chiarire anche le tolleranze sulle boccole. Non mi sembra rispettoso nei confronti di chi mi paga i corsi divulgare le informazioni a chiunque. Ad ogni modo la WP non ha bisogno di chiedere a me come io non ho bisogno di chiedere a loro.

@@LainerSuspensionRacingLLC2015 Che fai corsi per chiarire le tolleranze delle boccole lo rispetto eccome ,anzi complimenti.. Dico solo che non ci sono SEGRETI in meccanica ..Poi secondo me chi ha ben chiaro le tolleranze delle forcelle wp e' propio la wp che le ha costruite . rispetto il tuo lavoro dove con manualita' ed esperienza revisioni una sospensione al meglio.. Ma parlare di segreti mi sembra eccessivo..

@@50271 Per segreto intendo che la tolleranza la decido io in base alla mia esperienza e non sono tenuto a comunicarla al primo che chiede, come non sono tenuto a seguire ciò che dice WP. Non ho mai messo in dubbio WP, che è un prodotto eccellente, ma quando si lavora su una sospensione usata, è facile che le tolleranze non siano più rispettate. Dopo vent'anni di esperienze ed errori, ciò che ho imparato non lo divulgo a chiunque chieda.

anzzz119 I didn't put grease just to show the high sliding after the treatment. Yeah I forgot to mention that I put grease in the seals once I mount them. Anyway bushing doesn't need grease
