I've been listening for years I gotta say I don't like "Devil Don't Go There". I know aint nobody ask for my opinion. With clothed in black showing being in a dark place, and gotta think too, yeah the devil is evil he does go that low. Songs like "Out of Oklahoma", that really brings the meaning to a song and the depth. At the same time we live in this society where folks are embracing when we are in a low tough spot, but I tell v'all we need to stay true to our Christian values because embracing that rockiest bottom that's when the devil will try to getcha. Y'all know life's got it's times where your up and strong and then it's "Weak-End" s (or lows), but we acknowledge and need to put ourselves back together when it aint gonna be perfect, and may not or will never be the same from our "Weak-End" s, rather than twist it, because the devil can and does go that low. Lainey it takes everything to make these songs, when you are in or singing bout the darkest place, sing about what is good to lift you and folks up.
Yes everyone has an opinion, but being dressed in all black doesn’t represent what you are suggesting. And if you would listen to the words closely you would get it, but I guess you have never been in a bad relationship with a narcissist who can and will go lower than the Devil!! I love Lainey’s music keep on rocking Beautiful Lady. ❤
