Oh boy, this brings back memories. Good old 2005, back when you could go to a store with a quarter, and get a loaf of bread,a dozen eggs, a watermelon, a brand new bike and WoW was still good. Laintimes videos were the best. I think I've watched this one 20+ times.
This reminds me of the golden age of WoW, open PvPing all day, doing BGs with your other pvp enthusiast friends, enjoying your stay with your r14 gear. Laintime captured that spirit from a warrior's perspective. I was also a Warrior only player and what a journey it was back in the days.
as old as this is....i don't think people fully appreciate the 'jousting' technique that really made laintimes videos impressive. Old vanilla warriors should know what i mean.
back in the F'n day when a weapon's attack speed was a factor in MS dmg, and it made no sense to sit in a char's hit box waiting for the next auto to cycle
Swing timer abuse Hes trading 2 weapon swings of his own for their 1. Massive on its own, but combining that with the gear and skill difference and its no wonder he carved thru people the way he did
intercept stun rush, macro gear change, cannibalize, trinket change for different classes, world cooldowns on pots, change to defensive stance for 1 hit when not holding rage, a genius and quick thinker indeed!
Damn this really takes me back, not only to the memories of the game, but the entire period of my life I've been playing this game (4 years). Watching this video.. the old zones, abilities, the old armorsets and weapons. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Happy that I had an awesome time, sad that it's over. Going back is not an option... I know I'll just be dissapointed. Greatest gaming memories EVER!
indeed :D most people just seem to notice him owning 1-4 people, but they dont notice how he does it, the small details of his smart style and how he does it gets ignored completely. he seemed to know exactly every trick to the damn class like he were one of the developers :D kudos to you for noticing the small things!
and btw for those hating on the guy claiming to kill naxx geared players, the rank10 gear was blue and i wielded the unstoppable force and i really had no problems against well geared PvE geared players either. i hardly ever got 1 or 2 shotted. and laintime was genius with the way he played since he used a stick and move tactic which many people dont recognize although he does it right infront of your eyes, he ran in and swung some, moved out of reach for his swing time to reset and repeat.

the secret technique for a warrior to own it up. I liked the part when he fights the priest. He hits with his 2h then switches to the 1h+shield and before he attacks with the 1h he switches back to the 2h so basically faster swing times on a 2h. This is very hard to do even today

Andrew Morgan no clue if it’s REALLY him. I think he answers some English questions on stream and he doesn’t stream all too much either, so hard to say. But that same account has had a recording of arena play in previous expansions as a warrior.
Back when the game was imbalanced asf and Rogues, and Warriors dominated PVP. All Druid builds were so super terrible and inefficient, yet they still kept getting nerfed.
Let me ask you something, how much time are you spending on practicing bgs/arena atm? Back at level 60 it took 20h per day to get the honor needed for the last rank... I'm pretty sure that if you would practice that much time, you will learn something :). And please forget some RP/PVE realms shit here, I'm talking about real pvp servers. "Many" of the R14 players back then have been gladiators for 3-5 seasons in a row. Hopefully this makes things more clear for you. R13 rogue.
Yes, the server is really good. I've been playing there for 2 years and it's awesome. After the core merge they did not long ago everything is working almost blizzlike and they even managed to fix pathfinding to some degree. Come and enjoy vanilla with us :P
don't forget that's a koreean server, and even them at this time they all played with WASD keyboard keys when they move is you look in the vid, from this you can see the advanced level of laintime for this time lol , of course nowadays all warrior plays easily like him but for his time he was the only one in warriors to do this .
For all the cataclysm lovers saying pre tbc was a one- two shot fest. Take a look at the current game. Mastery stacking as a mage makes you one shot people. Rogues heal more than priests. Healers are immortal. Every class can do everything. Blood Dks being absolutley invincible and still deal damage like a dps class/spec.
@EonFigure Oh man, i remember fighting this one rogue in vanilla, i had just hit 60. He was decked out in Nightslayer T1 armor, and i (also a rogue) was just in the shadowcraft shit. It was a long epic fight of sapping, re-entering stealth, running out of range to bandage haha. But i managed to just barely beat him, and you're right, back then it was like the gear gave you an edge, sure, but skill was what mattered the absolute most.
@KatanaSole i said at the time he was around people on the european and american servers never even used bombs to do extra damage nor did they ran away from their enemies but they where dumb and ran head in and just tried to mash their MS , rend and hamstring button to win. thats how and before u ask yes i have been around way to long on wow :)

Time > Skill if we're talking about lvl 60 ranks, exactly what I already stated... and you're saying "Many" players from vanilla are getting chain Gladiator titles? Many more new players have Glad than the few players still left from vanilla so not sure what that was about? - Ex r14 War...
@EonFigure watch the other laintime video where he's fighting in the badlands and you can see him really strugglng to kill other geared players.. despite the fact he's skilled too.. so yeah
Actually this was usable in TBC as well, I was doing it when kiting (kitable classes) now everyone has a slow or some root that stops you from doing this any efficient.
this guy indeed invented how most warriors pvp today and he faceraped so many he was so skilled and alot of koreans where 10 or even 20 times better then people on the european and american servers until some people like swifty came allong and check out his play style get my point. Laintime > any warrior simple
I don't say I am great because I clapped the mosquito to its death or because I stepped on an ant into burst open. If you cannot distinguish just by looking at the victim's gear, You might think the warrior is a skilled guy, but I cannot see any of his fight being done against his equals. He is very strong on those weak children with shitty gear on them, and where is his miserable deaths when he fights the enemy with gear equal to his own? Editted his easy victories against no-epic-newbies and deleted his defeats against epic-wearing enemies while he himself is wearing epic gear and epic weopon.
lmao. Wearing high warlord gear means he was good at that time. yeah there was ppl wearing high warlord gear by just farming honor 24 horus but laintime was not one of them.
