I love em. I'm not sure about no matter what. Mine doesn't have anything on the sides just rollers on the bottom. In wind I have to nudge it this way or that but you hardly realize you're doing it. These guys don't know drive on from float on so are rollers going to help them?
The starcraft SVX has a dihedral hull and if the bunks are setup correctly it squares itself up easily. It's hard to tell from the camera angle but they look like they're too widely set.
I wonder how many of them are going to be saying in the future "yeah, I tried boating once over rated. No where near as much fun as they try to make it sound ".
Because of the bow setup on the Starcraft & the bowstop on the trailer you have to either have it super deep & winch it on or about 1/2 in and power it on. It's a funky setup compared to a deep v.
