What a way to kick off the ice fishing season! The snowstorm hit and the perch started to chomp. We caught fish on a verity of baits today, slab raps, spoons tipped with worms, jigs. It didn’t seem to matter. The ice is looking good on the north end of the lake and there have been snowmobiles out. There are still thin areas so as always, use caution!
