Our video is a guided walk from Coniston in the Lake District, Cumbria. We walk and scramble to the summit of The Old Man of Coniston via Goat's Water and return via Low Water and some of the old slate mines. This is a hard walk on good paths and tracks with steep inclines and declines. Elevation: Approx lowest point 224m (736ft) approx highest point 803m (2633ft). Approx 5 miles allow 3 to 4 hours using OS Explorer Map OL6, The English Lakes South-western area. Start point: Free car parking area at the top of Station Road, no through road.
