Despite the UK government announcing an approaching lockdown on that day, Derek and I made the best of our 1st day visiting The Lake District and we had a blast getting to know the Ambleside area!
We truly loved the old stone buildings around the town, the running streams and waterfalls, the old mill, and so much more!
Plus, since it was Halloween, we went to a charming High Tea at a local five-star hotel.
