Lure fishing for Perch on lake Windermere in the Lake District. Micro jigging is my favourite way to catch perch and it's easy to see why! Great vid mate. Where abouts on Windermere was this? Coniston worth trying as well for perch!

@@adventurefishinguk yeah I understand haha. I’ve hired a boat before from the boating centre next to the blue bird cafe at the north of the lake. They let me take my rod out on it! I Trolled some crankbaits behind the boat and got onto a few nice ones. They seem to be everywhere like in Windermere though. So any spot would probably work!

Thanks mate! Had two big bites on it but didn’t hook up, decided to switch back to the lure boi. Might’ve been human error but couldn’t risk losing another

Great vid, I’m heading up to Windermere on Saturday for a day session. Hopefully I catch at least one. Fingers crossed. Where did you get the blue tadpole lure from?

Nice one I really enjoyed the video, one question though, what is the casting weight of the rod you are using?

Thanks mate glad you liked it! Im not sure exactly but I use it around 1 gram to about 10. It has interchangeable tips to change the cast weights so i think with the shorter tip you can go up to 20, 15 at least. The longer tip is very comfortable casting as low as 2
